Yeah and if Tom Brady didn’t come around they would still be a losing team. He makes their drafting look better. 2 years ago TB was a joke.

IMO 2-3 wins. I think we would have beat SF already with him. But you’re asking that question with hate already ready for my answer. You’re asking questions impossible to prove just to hate the answer. Its opinion. So with that said, prove to me he wouldn’t win 2-3 more games before discrediting my answer. BTW you can’t.

Lol why are you so emotional? "Asking that question with hate already ready for my answer.” Good lord, I’m asking what about this team makes you think he makes a difference. What about the player makes a difference to a sub par passing attack with a sub par QB. I’m asking if we claimed him going forward how much of a difference he makes. Not if we had him since week 1. It’s a hypothetical, obviously. There’s no right or wrong. I don’t think this team or QB or D is good enough that adding one older WR coming off significant injuries who has a bit of an attitude problem midway through the season will have any significant impact for this year.

You came at me first, by the way, when I gave my opinion quoting no one saying that it wasn’t worth it. We clearly disagree. It’s ok.

Prove to you he wouldn’t win 2-3 more games? Watch Jalen Hurts and watch this defense against respectable QB’s. Smith was open multiple times against SF and Hurts couldn’t get him the ball to capitalize.

It’s a message board with people with differing opinions. No need to be so defensive.

How the Cowboys season plays out has a big impact on how the eagles playoff chances playout.  That week 18 game, if they either have the #1 seed locked up or don't have a chance for it then it makes sense for them to just rest their starters the whole game or after a drive or a quarter.  Eagles should be right on the fringe of that 7th seed with how ridiculously easy the rest of their schedule is.  Especially if they pull the upset over the Chargers tomorrow.  Then they can potentially win out.

Obviously too early to make a definitive stance on the Cowboys and Week 18. But with the format the way it is it would still benefit to fight for the 2nd seed to guarantee a home divisional round playoff game.

I think the benefit is severely less valuable now compared to the #2 seed of the past.  Beyond just losing the bye, we will be coming out of what is going to be the longest season in NFL history.  Getting that rest in if you can will be more valuable than whatever plays out 2 rounds from then.  Especially when you can lose someone major in that week 18 game when you didn't need to ultimately, like the Eagles in 2003 when Westbrook went down against the Redskins week 17.  An even that notably has forever influenced Reid when it comes to resting starters end of season.  Rested the final 2 weeks of 2004 and while TO's injury for sure had a part of that the year before of losing the engine of the 2003 Eagles Brian Westbrook in week 17 also played a role.  Since then Reid rests every team when he can come pre-playoff time.

Plus we already saw it last year play out last year in this new format of 7 teams and only the #1 seed getting the bye.  Both the Steelers and Bills were in play for the #2 seed and both rested key starters.  And that was with a 17 week season.  If the #2 seed still gave a bye then it would be worth battling for.  But for the Cowboys week 18? You rest everyone important after the longest season in the history of the NFL and you get ready for the true test ahead.

It’s a good counter point, and very possible. With how top heavy the NFC is and the Cowboys having a fairly easy schedule, I think #1 seed might be up in the air for awhile. We’ll see.

Yeah it might playout to be the biggest factor in the Eagles season. Week 17 we might be in a situation where we are rooting for the Cowboys to lock up the #1 seed in week 17 so that the Eagles can secure the #7 seed in week 18 against whatever that jackass backup QB they have is named.

How in the hell are we only 1.5 games off wildcard? Lol

All the other teams in the running for that 7th seed have harder schedules too.

Because the NFC sucks right now... Lots of bad to average teams.

If we beat the Chargers, we can go on a legit run.

It's hard to trust Siri/Ganon/Hurts to get us there, but considering the schedule, it is definitely plausible.

Oh for sure it is. The teams in the play off race are not that much better than us and have tougher schedules.

Hurts runs a few in during garbage time so we have to hear people say "What did you want him to do? Give up?"

Being an expert in one thing doesn't mean you are qualified to talk about other subjects, as a number of Nobel Prize winners have demonstrated over the years.

Just engaging in some Constitutionally protected speech while holding some Constitutionally protected firearms except possibly the pistol grip on his SBR and probably that threat was directed to someone specifically while holding up weapons to carry out the threat  and said by someone with a history of violent behavior such that a reasonable person would believe him.

Oilers fan. That game killed me.  Closest I ever came to throwing something through the TV screen.  Pathetic.

You remember the old AFC Central then, Bernie, Boomer, Bubby, and Warren.  Moon threw an awesome spiral and was far too underrated back then.
House of Pain game, and the Oilers are the team Glanville gave the "NFL stands for not for long if you keep making those calls, I’ll be selling groceries” speech.

He’s being sued by a valet for $30 grand because he screamed obscenities at them for not retrieving his car, he had the wrong ticket stub for his car.
It’s been mentioned here before but if retail workers sued everyone that cussed them, there would be a helluva lot more millionaires in the US.

WTF is going on with the Raiders? One thing after another with them

Because they aren’t the worse roster/team in the NFL, they are solidly in the race in the third tier with a schedule against the worst teams in the league.  Plus, the NFL in its wisdom has expanded the playoffs to mimic the nonsense of other professional leagues.
