My mum is from England, so I grew up on the stuff, plus Shepards pie, but a hard pass on  the Rhubarb in any form, and Kidney pie.

Steak and Kidney pie is just wrong on so many levels. When I was growing up my Dad used to grow his own rhubarb in the garden, damn that stuff was sharp but with the right amount of brown sugar rhubarb crumble and custard still wins the pudding wars for me. That and a proper Somerset Cider (that came on once of legal drink g age of course 😉

Turkey cooked on a smoker is excellent.

I don't do the big gathering thing. I'll do a Friendsgiving where everyone just brings a side or something before the actual day. On Thanksgiving it's just a close family dinner of no more than 6 or 7.

My wife is one of 8 kids and her family is all fairly close by where we live.  Between kids and spouses, Thanksgiving can range from the mid-twenties to mid-thirties. When we host, we are usually making at least 2 turkeys.   Thankfully, Christmas day we don't do a big gathering.

I’m disappointed in all of you.

Jeez, I'd probably just hire a caterer. Most of my extended family is back in South Jersey. So unless they are visiting for some reason, it's usually small.

I could get talked into Desmond Ridder as a 4th round pick if he's still on the board.  Looks like he's running less than he was his first two seasons

I'd put a waiver in for him

Just so we are clear... that is a crime against the turkey.  I only cooked a turkey like that once in my life... the first time I tried.  I learned immediately not to trust the stupid built in pop-up timer, and got a proper thermometer.

Same.  He's better than Jalen Reagor.

Do you think Corral, Willis, Howell, and Pickett all go the first two rounds?

I mean people bring dishes. It's not like we have to cook for everyone.

With non-generational QB's, need defines their draft value more than anything else.  Teams are either happy with their current QB situation or have one actively developing.  Those types of teams can grab at a shiny object at QB in the draft if the opportunity presents itself.  Considering this draft doesn't have one, we need to round up the teams that don't have a QB in the pipeline.  PHL, MIA, DEN, CAR, NYG, WTF, PIT, HOU.  8 teams...Watson will be traded to one of them.  7 teams in need of a QB.  That's more than enough teams for heavily flawed QB prospects to start flying off the board in rounds 1 and 2.

I always like to try to analyze roster decisions.

Mac McCain was good enough to be on the active roster all year.  They cut him but add James back to the PS.  If McCain was deserving of a roster spot, why not add him to the PS?  James clearly wasn't being signed by anyone and they know what they have in him from the last few years.

Does McCain need to clear waivers before they could potentially bring him back to the PS?

Not the traditional kind though.  Which has a hard boiled egg.  I prefer just bread crumbs garlic and seasonings.

I didn't know about the egg.   I just go with prosciutto, provolone, bread crumbs and seasonings.

Turkey is the worst. For thanksgiving I’m moved on to a nice pork shoulder or steak.

Just out of interest, what do you guys then eat for Christmas Day seeing as you've normally already done the whole Turkey for Thanksgiving? More Turkey???

Leg of lamb

Yes, he needs to pass waivers. They likely sign Howard to the 53 to fill his spot. Once they do that, it should be an open PS roster spot to sign McCain to.

That would depend which teams will be in the QB market in April.  I would estimate PIT, HOU, WFT for sure.  MIA, DEN, DET, ATL, CAR are possibilities as well.  Likely still 4-5 QBs drafted in the first two rounds.

Assuming Watson ends up in MIA that closes one and puts Tua on the market, with Goff and Jimmy G as guys who might get starting jobs elsewhere.

If the 4 you stated are the first 4 off the board, then that leaves Carson Strong and Ridder -- just depends how long they last on the board.

🤨 Yeah.  That’s what I said when I originally posted about Yorkshire pudding.  Standing rib roast and Yorkshire pudding.

The pork post was about the pic of undercooked pork.

I guess I should've read your post properly then shouldn't I 😳 getting myself all confused 😂
