Whoever wins the Super Bowl this year, I hope it’s not the Ravens

It won’t be. Their record is inflamed. It took a miracle field goal to beat the Lions

Not Lamar. He’s having a rough night but he’s still a great QB

And no running backs. Imagine if they had Dobbins & Edwards. Totally different situation. They need an established #1 type WR. Bateman will be a nice compliment and Brown is a deep threat. Andrews is good but not elite.

I can't believe the Dolphins are on a winning streak!

Greg Roman will an all-time bad performance. To beat Cover 0, max protect is your friend.

Roman only discovered slant-flat to back off the CBs in the 4th quarter.

Makes it even worse is their next 4 games are at jets, vs. Carolina, vs. giants and vs. jets

Hope to hell the Eagles can at lose on Sunday after this crap. They will end up with two picks outside the top 10 at this rate.

So?  The Dolphins next 4 games are @ Jets, home to CAR, Giants, and Jets.  Folks need to brace themselves for the idea that the Dolphins pick isn’t going to be top 5.  It might not be in the top 10.

And then how many of those picks will be used on a QB prospect we’ll feel half-hearted about… oof.

Lamar Jackson is the deluxe version of Jalen Hurts model isn't he? Better arm, better athlete, etc but you'll only get the same of sort of MPG as you would on the standard version.  Afterwards, you're still pining for the classic car

Didn't watch the game because I expected Ravens to win. Wtf

Right now, I have zero interest in any of these QBs in Round 1... Whether it be top 5, top 10 or just top 32.

Neither is very good in adverse conditions... or in the playoffs (in the case of Hurts, just against playoff teams).

I was watching the Carolina v. Pitt game instead.  It was a much better game.

Actually, he only works out 5 days a week.

As if i needed a new reason to hate the ravens…

I'm not sold on Pickett at all. I'm cautious when he hasn't been on much of anyone's radar until this year, even though he is a 5th year senior. To me he doesn't even look like a better prospect than Brandon Weeden. I wouldn't touch him in the first 3 rounds.

This team is so much further away from being competitive than locking in a QB, weather high draft pick or big time FA acquisition. The front office needs to invest draft capital into the defense, I would very much like all 3 1st round picks to go towards defensive players.

It's all coming together so the Eagles can trade 4 first round picks, 2 2nds and 3 thirds for Pickett.  Who is going to join me and Howie on the all the picks for Pickett bandwagon?

Nope. The stats look good, but the underlying play is very inconsistent.  Jackson will likely fall down the Cam Newton hole of his body giving way because of his physicality

I think most of the fan base is against moving up for a QB in this draft -- whether it's because there isn't a prospect worth taking early, some fans think Hurts is playing well enough (the casual fans), or some fans understand the draft capital needs to be spent on defense.  I don't believe Wilson, Watson or Rodgers are willing to come to Philly, so Howie would really need to go "off the reservation" to blow these picks on an overvalued QB prospect.

If he was watching Pickett vs Howell with an actual eye towards making one of them a 1st round pick, hopefully the Eagles realize neither of those guys are currently slated to be a top 10 pick -- no need to force the draft board.

I think they should spend all 3 first round picks on WRs.

Also - Pickett reminds me of Goff.  I thought Howell had the better game last night and has the stronger arm. Howell's not running an NFL passing game that Sirianni wants to run. He has some accuracy  issues as well.  Howell does seem fairly poised but he doesn't hesitate to run.  Pickett seemed to be more bothered by pressure.  He had a nice TD pass at the end of the first half.

That's what I just hinted at

You also seemed worked up about it, which is completely pointless.

Lol being pissed is the foundation of Philly sports and TATE since it's inception. Your commentary is pointless.
