I believe they’re gonna be picking in the top five. However their draft made no sense to me. Their oline and has been bad since the Super Bowl year. They should’ve taken Sewell. I look at the first drives as similar to the Vikings in the NFCCG.  See what the offense is trying to do and then adjust.

Detmer didn't even take luggage on road trips.  Kept his toothbrush in his playbook.

I knew a dude like that. He would take one toiletry bag to weekend trips to the Poconos. He just wanted to party and pass out.

Hurts is great in press conferences.  He says a lot of coach speech but he doesn't do so by giving short answers.  He answers with confidence and he expresses some long revealing answers but by doing so by someone that was a coach's son that was raised in football.

Best part about the game today was that this offense at least looked like it belonged in this decade after seeing the sludge that Doug trotted out the past two seasons with Groh and Taylor. 
 

Spacing, receivers getting open, run after the catch, screen passes to fast playmakers who don’t get taken down behind the line of scrimmage, etc. 

Well done by Nick and Steichen today. Awesome game plan.
