Surviving the third quarter was the key to the game.

Denver ran three plays of fourth down - a blocked FG, a made FG, and a Fumble/TD.

The fact that we ended up +4 after 15 minutes was a credit to Gannon and defense.

😱 BUT... Gannon is the worst DC in the history of DCs!

Howie finally got a LB right.

It's almost as if developmental players take time to develop.

Promising game.  Let's hope he keeps it up.

To be fair it was looking really bad for a while. Clearly they have made some adjustments and getting rid of a bum like Eric Wilson was addition by subtraction. I give them some credit for the performances recently because they have generally been better.

Heresy!

Burn that post!

They haven't really been better though. Well until today and to be fair today they were fantastic.

Easily the best and most complete game from Hurts this season. He deserves credit, but he needs to build on it.

Yes and no

First half was amazing. Second half was abysmal. Fumbled and threw a pick. Should've been two.

Having said that, he's clearly making an effort to throw from the pocket and use the rest of the field more, so that's a good thing.

Barnett is still a problem though, his dumbness didn't cost us today, but it will in the future.

I got second hand embarrassment listening to reporters trying to be "down” while interviewing DeVonta Smith. Just be yourself!!!!!!

I've got no issues with the defense, and have had zero issues with the defense all year.  They are what they are.  They aren't that talented and the DC is learning the ropes a little about being a DC.  He's had some pretty good defensive performances for this year.  Granted, its been either feast or famine...

In 5 games: 6 points, 17 points, 18 points, 6 points and 13 points.   AVG: 12 ppg.
In 5 games: 41 points, 42 points, 28 points, 33 points and 27 points. AVG: 34.2 ppg

It has in the past and it nearly did today. He's got to go end of. He brings next to nothing to the game in a positive way.

This is the most important part for me.   The fumbles and picks will happen with that.

For the first time, I think we can make the playoffs. Not because we're that good but more that we're a bit above average and can beat the bottom half teams. Plus there's a lot of very winnable games left this season, against our garbage division mostly.

We're 1 game out of a playoff spot right?

Also our young players are performing and improving: DeVonta, Taylor, Maddox, Sweat, Mailata, Goedert, Dickerson, Milton, even Hurts.

Good sign going forward.

Probably already posted but

Agreed. For the first time maybe ever I'd say his play was encouraging.

Let's see it continue.

This isn't an above average team, but they are playing bottom of the barrel teams the rest of the way, after the Saints, and the last Cowboys game is likely a throw away for them.

But, I don't know that this team is actually ready to play to 'its potential' week in and week out yet.  They have 5 very winnable games left, plus the Dallas game that might be a give away.  Can they win all 5 of those and get to 9 wins?   Seems unlikely.

BUT... if they stick to a 40/60 pass/run ratio... that's the key to victory.

Haven't heard his name much after starting the first few games hot

The first 30 minutes were great.  Hard to know if he can sustain it for 60 minutes, or more importantly, week to week.  We'll see.

I don't want to squeak into the playoffs because I don't think we can go deep

Half. He played like that for a half and then was back to himself when the d changed.

Well credit to Sirianni for building a lead and completely hiding his QB so he could have a complete game

So after today's game 1st Round pick Reagor has 200 yards of O from the LoS (doesn't include kick/punt returns, just his yards playing in the O and not on STs) while Slay has 107 return yards off 2 INTs and 1 FR.

Also, while looking up the Broncos' and Eagles' stats before the game I noticed Sanders has been credited with 185 YAC yards on 19 receptions, but only has 118 receiving yards.  Thus, he averages catching the ball 3.47 yards BEHIND the LoS.  What?  No wheel routes or being 2-3 yards in front of the LoS in the flat?  Is this the NFL equivalent of the sling shot pass to enter the zone on a Power Play in the NHL?

To no surprise, we are opening as three point underdogs against the Saints.

Siri is proving he can be a great coach.
