But, I agree he needs to do a better job of sticking in the pocket a bit longer...  he also gets very "right-handed" with his vision when his initial progressions aren't there...  a lot like most young QBs, I guess...

The LT Davenport was getting abused like no other. Not having fisher out there was a massive dropoff. Nelson was also getting beat today. they had Rasheem green lineup inside on one play and absolutely blew him up. There was a two point conversion where they were three free rushers to Carson from the right side of the line. Carson definitely didn’t play great but their oline looked like a team starting a backup LT, Nelson missing 5 weeks and Kelly missing 2-3 weeks. The more surprising part was the right side of the Colts line had issues all game.

Even their run blocking which has been one of the better units in the league was bad. They averaged 3.5 yards per carry. The Seahawks were the more physical team and whipped the Colts up front. Even the Seahawks oline was taking it to the Colts front 7

I made this comment in the first half. It was nice seeing guys wide open. Amazing what you can do with a little talent and a scheme to help them get open even if they can do it one on one

I watched it when the Eagles game was in commercials. He looked like the same ole Carson

I liked that too they didn't seem to run much in the first half then the second half they just started running it down their throats. Glad to be away from Doug and duces asinine rotation and going away from what is working

So you saw how bad the Colts run blocking was? Or pass protection where Davenport at one point got beat 3 consecutive plays? Literally 3 plays in a row he had a run ply blow up. And Carson got hit almost immediately.

Again Carson was not Great. Carson was fine in the first half when their blocking was actually decent. He had a time of possession of 18 mins and the Seahawks couldn’t get off the field and he was at one point 10-11 100 and a td. His first half was pretty good. It wasn’t until the second half where Davenport begin getting routinely beat at LT and the Seahawks whaled on that oline. The second half of that game their oline got beat at the point of attack routinely whether running or passing. Carson had his issues today but that oline particularly LT was bad.

Carson Wentz was not the problem for the Colts today. The Colts have no receiving weapons and an awful LT. It sounds familiar....

The local news report of that story is a classic.  He's driving around in some old dirty towncare with all his crap in a plastic bag as he looks borderline homeless.  My favorite Koy Detmer lore/story is when the team showed up in the hotel to get on the busses to head to the Super Bowl in Jacksonville, everyone was tight and anxious but Koy shows up in a fully blown fancy tux with top hat it loosens everyone up on the way to the Super Bowl before the game except for an obviously hungover Donovan McNabb.

That was a dumb play on his behalf. He and Kelly also had a bad exchange as well. Which isn’t all that unexpected when he and Kelly really haven’t worked together since early in training camp.

The enforcement of the penalty replicates the sack.

The only victim is that the DL who forced the penalty won't get credited for a sack.
