6ers making a run. Within 6.

And no matter how bad theyve looked, its been a joy to watch without hearing Kate Scott's annoying voice.

For the alternate.  Could always just do a full uni overhaul for 2022 if that possibly has been submitted.

I think they would have to give even further advance notice of that.  And Lurie would never

His numbers are worse in every way.

Here's some context for you: In his first year, he was learning an NFL playbook, learning the speed/strength of the game, while having an offensive line that was terrible, a QB that was terrible, no help on the other side and battled injuries the entire season. Oh, something about no camp either.

Now he's familiar with the way things are, has help, etc. He's doing things the coaches ask him, sure, but he's also had opportunities to make plays and has failed. He's not a rookie and still makes dumb, rookie mistakes.

He's had more cryptic tweets than catches in the last 6 weeks.

You have chosen to only look at his numbers.  You would be wise to look at both his numbers and the team's numbers.  Otherwise you are prejudging the analysis.

Being familiar with the way things are?  You have to be kidding. Name me one "thing" that is the same for him in 2021 as it was in 2020.  His coaches are different. The Offensive scheme is different. The role that the coaches have assigned him in their designed scheme is different. Many of the key players are different.

As I said, you have prejudged him and found him guilty.  All that is left for you is the execution.

You have made your point.  I respect the fact that everyone has the right to an opinion.  You have yours and I have mine. Nothing more need be said.  Thank you for the discussion.

The Ok state qb can sling it

Okay, here's what I see as the story that is embedded in Reagor's respective 11 game stats for 2021 and 2022

1) His catches are down 26% (from 31 to 23)
(2) His targets are down 31% (from"55 to 38)
(3) His catch percentage is up marginally (from 56.4% to 60.5%)
(4) His yards are down 43% (from 396 to 170)
and
(5) The team's pass plays are down 21% (from 404 to 319)

So, while his catches are down 26%, the team's are also down 21%. Those aren't identical numbers, but they are in the same ball park.

Further, the profile of the 2021 catches is very different than the 2020 catches.  In 2020 Reagor's median catch was 10 yards.  In 2021 that median is down to 7.  In 2020 his average catch was 12.8 yards.  In 2021 that average is 7.4 yards.  At the same time, the overall team average yards per catch has risen from 5.4 to 6.9.  The story that tells is that the offensive scheme is using him differently.

In 2020 Reagor had only 3 catches of 2 yards or less, and one of those was a 2 yard touchdown (10% of his 31 catches).  In 2021 he has 7 catches of 2 yards or less (30% of his 23 catches).  The story that tells is that the offensive scheme is using him differently.

And he was disappointing last year and he's still disappointing this year.  So, you are proposing he's not regressing.  But even if he's holding steady with his disappointing rookie season, that's not good enough for a first round pick.  It's not even good enough for a 3rd round pick.

I’m not getting the game.  I see that all of the players are back.  Maybe a little rust?

I dont know... they started Thybulle even though Green and Kork, and Joe are healthy. Im not sure whats up with that. And just everyone has shot like arse.

Just tied on a thubulle run out dunk though.

He fed Hutch a sack, drew a holding penalty on day where a lot wasn’t called, and was Hit/miss on keeping the edge. Ton of potential, might be more of a year 2 player - might stay in school anyway.

The OSU LT he was facing is also a legit prospect. Nicholas Petit-Frere is an Outland Trophy semi-finalist.

Isnt PF the right tackle?

They gonna make the Iron Bowl come down to two point conversions. That's more idiotic than hockey penalty shots to decide games.

Said that in the PSU OT game that went 9 OTs.  That wasn't football.    Just stick with the possession from the 10, or the 25 if you prefer, but eliminate PATs after the 2nd OT and force them to go for 2 each time they score a TD.  Football is a rhythm sport... and just lining up for 1 play constantly kills the rhythm of the game.  Unwatchable.

Pretty sure he's the LT.  He played RT last year, but I'm pretty sure he's been moved over to LT for this season.   At least, that's what I remember.  #78 versus #79 though.

OT for 6ers. I propose a new OT rule. A dunker, and a defender get put under the basket. 1 on 1 dunker and defender have to go up and see who wins. No post moves or anything. Just straight up to dunk it or block it.

Hutch and Ojabo were flipping sides, so he certainly got some PF reps.

Better than ending in a tie or deciding the game with a chip shot FG.

I couldn’t possibly disagree more. That 2-point conversion ending is a disgrace.

You want a bunch of college students playing all night?

So don't allow FGs after the 2nd ot. TD or bust.

I've got no issue with a tie either.  It happens.

God what a day off College football. I used to be an NFL purist. But man they are both great in different ways.

After the first - eliminate the FG.

After the second eliminate the PAT.

After the fourth OT... it ends in a tie if its still deadlocked.

I don't know how well ties would work in college though. The ranking system is already confusing enough lol.

Decided to find news coverage of the eagles super bowl win and damn is it still as good after three years. Good times.

Wow what a play by Maxey to setup Drummond for the tip

@4for4EaglesNest

In OT with 2.1 seconds left down 3, Maxey was fouled bringing the ball up the court. He went to the FT line for 2 shots. Made his 1st. Purposely missed the 2nd, and Drummond tipped it in for the tie to send to 2nd OT.
