Hurts has to play a lot smarter, but the play calling at times in that half was not the greatest either.  But only 3 down, so not all lost

What's up with him today is everything isn't perfect for him and he has to actually play QB and he isn't a pocket passing QB.

We have 87 yards rushing in the 1st half and that's with two 3 & outs and being a little more pass happy to start the game.  So commit to the run game in the 2nd half.  However, need to cut out the holding penalties and at some point Hurts is going to have to throw the ball and make some completions.  That's the downside, especially this game where Hurts just looks like he has zero field vision this game.  He's made more bad/piss poor throws than mediocre/good throws today.

This is exactly what I've been trying to explain to people. At some point running won't be an option (if we were playing a good team, that might already be the case) and we will need to depend on Hurts being able to throw.

He can't do it consistently enough.

Both Herbig penalties were of the didn't need to do it ones.  Both killed good plays too

You have me confused with someone else.  I only had four posts leading up to, during, and after the Atlanta game.  The one below was the only opinion on the team or Hurts that I provided.
