Putting Jalen bashing aside, we only had 1 sack against an awful O line. Defense played ok as a whole but we are getting nothing from our ends all year. This scheme sucks.

Looked like Jones climbed the pocket when there was pressure

Don't you want to rely on your QB to win the game though?

Ideally but everyone and their mother knows we can't, so why put ourselves in a position where we have to? The eagles did that to themselves, it's not like the giants shut down the run game

I watch a lot of SEC football. The wife is a Tennessee alum. He's far from a running qb. Idk how I feel about drafting him just yet. I'd like to see him stay in college 2 more years

I'm a Bama alum. He's very mobile. But he uses it to avoid pressure in the pocket and make a throw. I mean if it's wide open he will run of course. But it's not his go to.

69 percent completion. 40 TD throws to 4 int. But yeah he's a "running QB. Lmao

Bama's offense is mainly quick wr screens, drags, quick outs. Its not a successful NFL offense. We should know, we tried it in the first 5 weeks with no success. Bama's best year offense passing was under Jones a true pocket accurate passer.

Im not a buyer on any of these new style QBs. Only reason I like Pickett, reminds me of a early/mid 2000's QB style player. Reads his progressions well, when going mobile always looking down field. To many times now these QBs read one or two routes only and stare them down. Stroud is no different he just has better players around him to go to.

Franchise.

If Hurt and Minshew are both here next year there will ne no competition.  It will be in name only

Passing the ball there is no comparison.

It's because of his ability to run that Hurts is even considered.

Is that a record?

Cobb still had some wheels

He needs to stay in school and progress. While not a running back like Hurts he has trouble reading the field and takes horrible sacks. He’s a guy you can win with now in a college environment.

Minshew should still be on the team next year.

Like someone mentioned earlier, they need to have a QB competition between Minshew and Hurts.

Fans might not want to hear it but I've been saying it for weeks now.  We will never see the best of Smith, Goedert or Watkins if Hurts is the QB.  Even on the last drive, the only completions he had were to RB.  Reagor didn't help as they were 2 perfectly thrown balls but I just think Hurts is holding back the development of the young talent they have.

The joke.

If people catch perfectly thrown balls, these stats look like he is Aaron f—ing Rodgers. Just shows stats without context mean nothing.

The 2nd to last throw to reagor was 7 yards shorts.

Or the scheme lacks the talent to perform at its optimum.  When your 3rd DE is Ryan Kerrigan who has barely registered a stat all season and your big FA LB has been released, it says a lot.

Gannon can and should do better, but the talent level is not good.

Disagree on that. Everyone on the line from Cox to Sweat to Barnett to Ridgeway has regressed from Schwartz’s wide 9 scheme. Hargrave is the only that improved but that could be a factor of things like being healthy and more experience playing in a 4-3. Talent is best in the league but it’s more than enough to be pressuring more and getting home on the QBs.

Hurts was terrible but he had two, maybe three TDS DROPPED today.  I mean WTF

Had a number of dropped INTs too.

We held them to 13 points. After 3 interceptions. This isn't on the D.

Never said it was. Specifically said all year the pass rush has been disappointing

Can you use perfectly in another sentence so I can understand what you think the word’s definition is?

Hurts is better at his position than Reagor is

You just proved that because his game on the field looked nothing like Aaron Rodgers.

This game definitely pushed me toward the "move on from Reagor" mindset.  I don't know who had a worse game, Siriani, Hurts or Reagor.  They all sucked.

Hey @mattwill do you now grasp what a bust reagor is?

Yes

Whoa you mean he’d be 19 for 31 and 175? Dominance

After this game today I’m fine using our last 1st round pick on Kenny Pickett

So far  we got

Riley to USC

Napier to FL

Dykes to TCU
