Sanders is overrated anyway.  The guy makes the absolute least out of every single play.

Its like hes trying to get his steps in the way he dances and wastes motion.  He flashed for a 2-3 game stretch last year and seemed like hed develop into a legit top tier RB, but nah.  Time to move on.

The Giants draft better players on defense than the Eagles do.  They value LB.  They love long, lean, athletic defenders who can be headaches.  Might not always be the most disciplined players but they draft guys who get after the QB and know how to make a play on the ball.

But they can’t draft OL, or coach them up at least. The Giants aren’t a benchmark for anything these days.

Looking like Pats may have landed the best QB in the draft , Pats are one of the top teams in the league right now  , a top D , and a smart QB will take you places

Tua has been better last cpl we’re

I know, I'd just like to see more Gainwell.

Scott was fine, but he fumbled. If Gainwell got extended snaps and fumbled I wouldn’t have been surprised.

Now the new narrative is that it's not Hurts' fault. He doesn't have help.

Well, Smith is open constantly.

Goedert I have been told is one of the best TEs in football.

Watkins is a solid piece, albeit nothing crazy.

He has a crazy good offensive line and a running game that's netting him 200+ on the ground weekly.

How much more help does he need?

Hurts was leading rusher yesterday , as long as that continues he will never develop as a QB , too quick to tuck it and go

Also worth noting:

We keep hearing how great Hurts plays with the game on the line and has ice in his veins. Here's a big divisional game that gets us to .500 and in a great spot for making the playoffs and he went and wet his pants.

Not disagreeing but on the last drive that would have won the game he placed the first ball to Reagor perfectly.  On the 2nd throw he missed Smith down the same sideline but hit Reagor again in the hands.  So some bad, some good, not really changing minds about who he is.  And so you don't get lost in this, I do not think he is a starting QB, but I criticize when appropriate and applaud when appropriate.

The best passer in the draft looking like the best qb in the draft…who possibly could have seen that coming?

Agree there.  I thought Will Hernandez was going to be an All-Pro when they drafted him.  I was thinking Larry Allen 2.0.  He's been OK with them but not the dominant player I imagined.  He's on my FA list for the Eagles.  Imagine what Stoutland could do with him and having Dickerson and Hernandez at G next year.

Point I was making though was they do know how to draft on defense.

The best thing the Eagles have going for them is that the rest of the NFCE can't seem to find good coaching staffs because they talent all 3 rival teams have added is ridiculous.

Reagor proves that his catching ability is below average.  Dropping 2 passes at crucial moments of the game is killer.  Sad thing is if they drop Reagor, who else they could use at WR?  Smith is viable but he is not the deep guy.  Watkins has the speed and had showed some promise.  He is not a reliable weapon yet.  Behind these 2, not much.

Hurts trusts his running more than his passing.  RPO favors R over P, and more him running than the RB.  When the earlier passes did not work, he just reverted back to his own legs.  He may pile up good numbers on runs, but he won't be a top QB without the passing ability.

Another problem is on game plan.  The team got good results in previous 4 games by running.  Howard is hurt and not available this game, which hurts.  They went back to the passing game which did not work well and showcased the short-comings of Hurts and the receiving corp.  That circles back to Siri.  Can he X&O and game manage this team to success?  There are many questions need to be answered.

The bar is so low that if Hurts throws more than 20 times in a game, that's considered "pass heavy".

This is despite the fact that we were about 50/50 the entire game and closer to 60/40 (in favor of running) until the last drive of the game when they had no choice but to pass.

He wasnt even tucking and running.  He may have done that like twice.  Most of his runs were called runs or read options.

Thats how much of a joke it is and he still was playing like Wentz at his absolute worst.

Legitimately, what he did yesterday was the exact reason they ran Wentz out of town.

Its also evident that they get really good coaching.   Belichick can obviously teach.  His coaches can too until they become head coaches.

He is well coached in NE , he wouldn’t be the same QB if Jags or Jets drafted him , coaching matters

I think so many called runs ,tend to  teach bad habits

Sirianni has no choice, hes just trying to field a competitive team

He didnt have the best game yesterday either, but to me hes shown enough.

Yea that's pretty funny. Smith and Goedert are open often. Hurts doesn't go through his progressions to see them and when he does he under/over throws them. He's had plenty of time in the pocket to go through his reads. Not to mention he's chicken ish and won't use the middle of the field

Looks like Sooners  will target Josh Heupel

Just now, 4for4EaglesNest said:

Yep.  But why would we want Josh McDaniel's as head coach?  He's mean and he failed over a decade ago.  So he's certainly not qualified.

We got Sirianni, who was 30 year old quality control coach during the same time.

I would have liked Josh but this team would be basically the same if they made him play Hurts.

Smith was wide open on that last play. Hurts didn't see him because he sucks and doesn't go through his progressions

I can’t believe more people aren’t livid about this.  21 seconds left and 4th down and Hurts chooses to throw to Reagor, who isn’t even in the end zone if he catches it (maybe you have time to run down line everyone up and spike it — maybe) — while his WR1, the player he needs to be his first read, is running wide open for a TD

Reagor dropped the ball ala JJAW — yes he sucks — but, wow, why is Hurts choosing to target him there instead of Smith?  The QB has to be a better decision maker.

You mean like his crazy good offensive scheme early in the year that was working so well that they did a complete 180 away from it?

You really think he was going to come out on Day 1 running a read option scheme with a 60/40 run/pass ratio?

You think that would please his new boss?

Youre not giving him enough credit, hes a good coach.  Hes done what hes needed to do to prove himself

Boston Scott as the leading RB is still so head scratching to me.  Also think Marcus Epps deserves more defensive snaps.

Sanders got hurt,  but came back and had another nice run,  and then disappeared for the rest of the game.  I assumed he was injured and couldn't finish.

I hope the coaches weren't stupid enough to bench him for some reason.  He was fantastic all game long.

Was it ever confirmed whether he was injured or not?

Seemed like Nick went away from the run when Kelce got injured

This is my thoughts on Conner Strong. Don't over think it. Dont try to get too cute(Matt  Corral) and dont try to be the smartest guy in the room with a Pickett Pick.

Conner Strong has a monster frame, monster arm and with the right coaching he could be a player. But because he doesnt go to Bama or run the ball in a hyped up offense(we have one of those) he doesnt get the play.

All 3 draft picks are gonna be wedged from 10-20(wouldnt be shocked if we had 3 picks within 5) and use it to get conner strong.

Unload Hurts for a 3rd, Let Minshew run the team next year while Strong is waiting.
