Playoff machine is live, though if we go back to Hurts I really don't care

So if we win out and Dallas loses out we play the Rams at home :groovy:

Go read her replies to the initial thread.  It's unreal and she's not the only one with that take.

If every remaining game in the NFCE ends in a tie and we beat Dallas week 18, we will be 7-7-3 but Washington will still be ahead of us despite being 6-6-5.

I am very productive at work.

I think RTK is just angry that Minshew makes #10 look better than Koy ever did...

If I recall, didn't Carson want the Eagles to draft Kupp?  Or were they just work out partners?

at least according to this simulator, Im ok with where our picks are right now. I have no problem with the draft starting like this

1. Elam

1. Ojabo

1. Brisker

2. Drake Jackson

3. Mumaw

Still a hell of a D rebuild going on there.

I think he might have been in that group, with Mack Hollins.

I wanted the eagles to draft Kupp too.

He worked out with Kupp before the draft along with Chad Hansen who fell off a cliff.

Ok.  Have at it.  Name names.  Who are you referring to?   And please cite evidence.  This is not something that you can just throw around without merit.  Back it up, or leave the board.

Peter king from the article:

Here's what King had to say about the possible uses for the Eagles' three first-round picks:

"Barring something really weird, the Eagles now will have their own first-round pick, and those from the Dolphins and Colts, and all could be in the top 20 of the round. In all, the Eagles will have nine picks in the first five rounds: three in the first, single picks in the second, third and fourth rounds, and three in the fifth. With quarterbacks not projected to be super-high in round one, the Eagles would likely be able to sit or maneuver slightly to draft one ... or package three attractive picks to get a Deshaun Watson or to chase a Russell Wilson."

You have it backwards, the racial element is exposed by those who think Hurts' race has anything to do with him starting over Minshew.

Minshew has no upside, he's a solid backup caretaker QB who could win on the right team (running game, top ten defense), but he's not going to beat good defenses without a lot of help.

Hurts has more upside (the probability of him reaching it ???) because if he was just a solid caretaker type passing QB, his running would make him special. The way Minshew would be starting if he could run (and had the body) of Hurts.

Minshew has just a couple more starts than Hurts... if Hurts remains a guy with upside, why is Minshew a finished product?  23 starts to 16 starts.   Big difference?  Oh, I might add, Minshew is a far more accomplished passer than Hurts.

So it's become very clear that Sirianni is able to scheme guys open. I think we've all acknowledged that throughout the year. The problem early in the year was asking Hurts to throw so often, he just can't do it (but I guess we didn't know for sure until we knew). Even on both of Goedert's TDs, Minshew still underthrew him. Good throws ultimately, but it really made me turn the corner on acquiring a Wilson/Watson. Of course both have their own issues, otherwise they wouldn't really even be available. But combine either one with an upgrade at RB (a young, legit bruiser like a Najee Harris type who can handle a full workload), and this offense becomes very dangerous.

I'm curious how much of it was on him vs how much was the receivers and him aren't in sync yet because he's only had so little time with them

Also add minshew did all but one with the jaguars who at that time besides WR were considerably worse than what the eagles talent wise. That said i dont think he nor hurts are the long term future here
