Simmons kind of reminds me of early Jason Kidd.

Kidd wasn't much of a shooter but dude could run and pass and defend and had confidence In spades.

Simmons can't shoot is an overrated passer in my opinion and is a head case, though he's an elite defender.

Not sure teams are going to take a chance in him projecting he improves his shot much.

Kidd got alot better as a shooter along the way.

Without a shot Simmons is just a really good defender and while that has value how much???

I mean whose going to give up a really good offensive player in an offensive league for a defensive guy?

We'll see how it plays out, I can't imagine 76ers coming out on top in a trade for a disgruntled defensive player that wants to be traded.

I think Lowie will prioritize getting a known commodity like Wilson/Watson over a rookie.

But if they fail to land one of them, I fully expect them to draft Corall/Pickett in the 1st.

Don't see a Hurts/Minshew starting contingent heading into 2022.

I know we all hate Jalen Reagor but man I still have the slimmest, smallest, I'm talking barely hanging on ounce of hope for him.  I really think he needs to sit and just get his mind right.  Here is Baldinger's review of Minshew and the first pass is to Reagor.  I know it's a small thing to get excited about, especially as we see Justin Jefferson just going off but the way Reagor puts his foot in the ground and changes direction is a reminder that under this enormous clusterf^$ of a draft pick is elite athletic talent.  He more than likely never puts it together as an Eagle but I'm still pulling for him.  I also don't think he's being used right at all.

That‘s actually a pretty fair and balanced article. Which is rare..

Tommy has always provided a decent level of objectivity mixed in with some Eagle optimism.

Trading up for Corral or Pickett, oof - idk, can’t stay locked to Swag unless he starts seeing the field better (I’ll give him credit for sticking in the pocket more, but he’s played nearly as many games as Rico and a ton in college and just isn’t there yet)… RW seems like the best bet to me.

I’ve become so accustomed to hot takes his stuff seems milk toast… but that’s really on me not him.  He has a good perspective.

If they aren't going to trade for a vet starter like Wilson, Rodgers, Watson, etc., then I'd be cool with Minshew as the starter and if they can draft Pickett late 1st at the earliest, to be the backup and learn for a year or so.

It sucks because I really like Hurts.  I didn't think he'd be a good pro QB seeing him in college but still was hoping he could.  Seems like a good dude, well liked, team guy, etc but he doesn't seem to have the skills as a passer.  How long  can we wait for him to see a steady improvement as a thrower?  Unfortunately in today's NFL you aren't given much time.
