Our future QB just won the Heisman. Congrats Bryce from this Bama alum.

nice. Smith and then Pickett. 2 Heisman winners in a row coming to the eagles.

Even this FO is smart enough to know all QBs that win the Hiesman suck in the NFL. People will say Murray and Jackson but both system QBs. We already saw how bad Jackson is. Murray will be next.

Im just Thankful Pickett didnt win it.

In the last five years, well 6 now I guess there have been 3 QBs that have won it who are doing just fine in the NFL. One even won MVP. And no i didn't include Baker.

Lamar Jackson has won like 80% of his games or something like that. I wouldn’t put him in the Hall but he’s far from bad

Embiid needs help

and to pass quicker out of double teams

I've been on the Pickett train for a while now, but I am looking forward to Ridder against Bama, and how Corall tests/measures in the pre-draft process.

Just say no to Willis.

Love Bryce as a player, but he just looks fragile.

I know Kyler was basically the same height, but he was well put together at almost 210lbs.

It feels like you can knock Bryce over with a feather.

Oh. I see. Bryce Young won the Heisman. I thought people were saying Pickett won it.

I know you're a Bama guy but Bryce Young, as good as he is, is not built to be an NFL QB.  He's got a frame like DeVonta Smith.  He's had a great season but I want no part of him as an NFL QB.

The arbitrary hesitation around Buckeye QBs aside, Stroud should be QB1 in 2023. Tall, big arm, prototypical game, accurate, fits the bill.

He wants to get fired so bad. What an abject disaster for Shad Khan.

You are going to need to specify what you’re talking about here.

It was his fault for hiring the dip$hit

Hiring Urban Meyer. Are there other disastrous things he's done lol

Jackson cant hit the side of a barn with his passing accuracy . Hes not a QB, hes a Running Back lined up in the QB position.

You cant put it aside, its been tried many times and failed every singe time. People said the same thing about Fields last year and he looks horrible. Im never taking a shot on a QB from that school. Too risky. Will he be QB1 in 2023? Probly but so was a lot of failing QBs.

Problem is the typical college QB is not a NFL QB anymore. the NFL keeps trying to build offenses around these players and it doesnt work long term.

We need a typical NFL pocket QB that can read a field and read through progressions which is a dying breed. Only QB I see this out of is Pickett. He caught Howie;s eye since Howie has been to 3 of his last 4 games in person. Pickett is your Herbert/Burrow style QB in this draft.

People may not like it but Pickett is the type of QB you want for this team if Lurie and Howie want a passing offense. You need that pocket presence, you need someone who will go through his reads before taking off after one read. If time has told us anything with Howie then all sights are on Pickett with all the attention Howie has given him over the other QBs in this draft to this point. We just have to hope they dont have to or wont pay the entire farm to have to move up to get him.

His stats say otherwise. He’s an above average QB. I’d guess 15-20 teams would easily hand over a 1st round pick for him. The Eagles being one of them. It’s stupid to think otherwise

Yeah it’s crazy Chad Henne hasn’t really been a star QB… being that he was a Michigan QB just like Tom Brady.

You missed this:

"Funnily enough, I like Howie and think he’s a very good GM who rolls with the punches as well as any you’ll find. He has walked the walk. But that doesn’t change how he got there."
