Unfortunately Meyer isn't in control of the personnel. And Khan has repeatedly said how much he loves Lawrence. He's not going anywhere, unfortunately.

True.

They have to fire Urban though, right?

If the recent reports are true, I gotta think so. He called his assistants losers. Everything he's done points to him having no interest in that job. Almost like he wants to be fired honestly.

It's now beyond comical.

We have a new leader in the clubhouse of Bacartyisms.

Wow, he really is topping himself today.

What kills me is this narrative that no one cares about education anymore - "it's all about business and getting to the pros". The number of scholarship students with legit pro aspirations is a fraction of athletic scholarship students. High profile athletes do not represent the overwhelming majority that use athletics as a means of education.

Isn't the USFL starting back up?  There's another option for him.

I dunno, but we can send him to NFL Europe for all I care.

I hope all of you guys who are hoping the Eagles win enough games to make the playoffs.....or are rationalizing who we need to win in order to help us get in with 7-9 wins, only to lose in the 1st round, remember this.  When we are drafting in the teens and miss out on Kyle Hamilton.....remember I'm the one who told you.....He's THE GUY in this draft.  We don't have a shot at Hutchinson....but Hamilton will be a great player.  Not good.  Great!  If we went 5-12 or 6-11 we would have a shot at him without trading up...(which we won't)  But the meaningless wins down the stretch are going to burn us.  Again.  Much like the Cee Dee Lamb deal.

Yeah, like we would need to "remember" that for 1 second

Yep I've stated since the start of college football this year if we somehow land Hamilton, I'm buying his jersey immediately. He's gonna be great

If the Eagles make the playoffs they will 100% be scheduled to have the Nickelodeon broadcast, which means Hurts goes 9 for 21, 115 yards 0 TD's 1 int and wins the NVP award.

FA WR or draft in 2022?

Torn on this one.

FA Class looks legit at the position (Juju, Robinson, Gallup to name a few)

But also intrigued by mid round gems like Ezukanwa, Ross, Pickens (he if goes)

Big-bodied, possession WR to complement Smith and Watkins could be a gamechanger.

(JJAW sold separately batteries not included)

Yea, don't. Unless jerking a guy off for 3 straight hours is your thing.

WE don't ask such questions in here

Didn't Juju turn down a nice contract from the Eagles last offseason?   And Gallup has already been contaminated.  So big NO to those two.

Please Howie, offer 2-3 1st rounders for Lawrence just to see if they bite.

Cisco was a guy I really liked in the draft.   Richard LeCounte too.  I thought LeCounte had a chance to be an impact player after his preseason but he's only played in a handful of games.  Still, two young safeties, both coming off injury, who I think will be good players.

‘Tis the season for practice squad poaching.  Wonder who the Eagles might protect and who they might poach. Surprised we haven’t seen Stevens moved up with Taylor out.

One of my favorite things about the end of the season as silly as it sounds.  It's a chance to get a free look and control over players who you might not have had a chance on earlier in the year.  It's another reason I'm kind of irked why they have 8 CB on the roster while only playing 4-5 of them. I think you could easily stash 2 of them on the PS and bring in a WR/LB/DL from another teams PS.

Just laying the groundwork now.

Hamilton might still fall to us in the 11-20 range.  It's possible someone could take him in the top 10 but safeties don't usually go that high.  Last one was Jamal Adams, I think, and we all see how that worked.

So erratic, outlier and not trickledown effect are things you dont know wha they mean.

The reason we're having this conversation is because 1 coach was greedy and left Oklahoma.

Lincoln Riley's greedy decision is now trickling down to a lot of kids entering the transfer portal, which causes them to go to different schools which then produces more kids going into the transfer portal.

You're an idiot. 1 big coach effects THOUSANDS of kids.

Coaches move on for other jobs all the time. How's what he did greedy? These kids can pick and choose where they want to go. The transfer portal last year was crazy and this year will top that. How's that any different from coaches taking another job?
