I’d rather be coached by Deion Sanders too if I was a DB.

Yeah being a CB I can see how he might want to go with Deion.  But regardless,  nobody will hear about him unless he's getting 5 interceptions per game.

Holy s*** he did it.

This is a massive get for Deion, this is the #1 overall player in the country and has drawn comparisons to Charles Woodson.

WOW.

*the tweet mistakenly lists him as RB, he's a CB.

I can only assume no major college program aggressively pursued Deion. We greatly underestimate the stupidity of decision makers.

If he’s at USC he gets every top recruit in the country.

Vols are doing well so far @4for4EaglesNest

Riley is doing great already. Number 7 class for 2023 and that will just go up

You think he won’t make it the NFL cause he’s going there? Lol

He will make it but let's face it.  That competition is not as good as  Div 1.  That will hurt his draft stock unless like I said he gets a crazy, stupid amount of interceptions.

He will also pull down 2 5* recruits in Domani Jackson and Raleek Brown in this year's class.

Riley has hit the ground running in Southern California.

I don't think this is a ruse.  I think his ankle is limiting.  I do think Minshew's play makes it an easier decision.

Is Jackson State really that much worse than North Dakota State in terms of competition?  Seriously asking.

I don't know but I think Deion will have a vested interest in getting the kid exposure.  He's also had success with the team this season.

He sure has. I can finally be excited about USC football again. Riley being there is going to hurt these schools like Bama and OSU recruiting on the west coast

I'd say it's a push

Word around the interwebs is that Travis Hunter pulled in a 2 million NIL deal to sign with Jackson State. Woof.

So Brooks will miss another week

I think splitting reps is doing a slow transition. If Minshew starts and plays well then he likely finishes the season

Brooks is done for the year. Still no update, with three games left when he was supposed to be back for the Raiders game. I don't see them letting him play and risking another injury when they are going to move on from him next season.

I do.  I think a QB in the NFL in a playoff race, not able to play because of an ankle sprain is pretty rusey.   I don’t care if he’s a glorified running back or not.  Keep in mind, two weeks ago he himself said he was good to go.  He’s still not good?  After a bye week?  I call BS.  This is either a benching disguised to save face or he’s ready to go and they are trying to be cute with the Redskins.

The Eagles are the same team that recently listed about 14 players as first string on both the offense and defensive depth charts so as to avoid offending players.  We had like 3 WRs, 2 TEs, 3 DEs, 3 LBs, 5 DBs, etc.

So I wouldn't put it past them to try to sweep a QB change under the rug with an injury.

At the same time, it could just be an attempt to keep WTF practicing for 2 QBs.

Holy smokes!  At what point does the NRL start considering postponing games?

Hurts non committal if he'll play. Wouldn't answer how many reps he took today.

FCS is a step down from the Group of 5 Conferences, Trey Lance and Carson Wentz had tangibles every NFL team looks for in a QB, height, mobility and arm strength.  Same reason Flacco could come out of the University of Delaware.   If any of these guys were 6’1” with mediocre arms, and limited mobility (Minshew) going to an FCS school they wouldn’t get drafted.  Minshew was PAC12 for a season, he put up great numbers but still didn’t get drafted till the 6th round.

Aren’t they FCS?  It’s like Arch Manning choosing the University of Delaware.

I mean Delaware did produce a Super Bowl winning QB.

No clue.  Maybe this kid still goes top 5 or 10 but scouts will question him a little because the competition isn't as strong.

Wentz had similar question marks coming from ND St.

Eagles should just use this as a bye week. Don't push Kelce out there if he's not close to 100%

I think Kelce is making the decision on his own.

That's a bunch.

Eagles/Washington should be pushed back a day or two for competitive balance reasons, but the NFL has never cared about that (see its officiating).

Easy W on Sunday.
