If you want a good laugh, head over to the Jalen Hurts thread so you can see someone claiming Hurts is a top 10 QB in football.

Would that someone be RTK???

Imagine praising Tom Brady for his "brand" in an Eagles message board and thinking anybody would care. Then getting upset when somebody states the obvious. What a clown.

Again , show me where I got butt hurt about Brady   ? I’m not asking much  , simply back up what you post  , and then we can move along

You’re not far behind him  , so enough trying to act clever , it doesn’t work , the moron in you  stands tall .

You should head over to this place.  They may be more receptive to a fan of the Bucs on this board.

I mean, we signed Flacco for more than that I think? Another one in the loss column for Howie.

But... he did manage to flip him for a late 6th... so... #winning?  🤔

Saw him say producing like a top 10 QB. Ah the yard are yards argument. Meanwhile so is kirk cousins (and has been for the better part of 6 years) doing the same and continuously nothing to show for it. they are continuously stuck in purgatory. Love the whole producing like a top 10 QB argument meanwhile ignoring our Qb is 21st in QBR, 26th in QB rating, 23rd in passing attempts, 28th in completion percentage and 24th in passing yards.

Cowards attacking me in your safe space.

There should be a short bus containment thread on this board. Well, there is. But it sucks when you guys go outside of it.

I think both Trubisky and Jones have far more potential than Minshew. Minshew is a fun guy to cheer for, and is better than Hurts, but he's still not good. He's a great back-up (same as Hurts), but I think the possibility that Trubisky/Jones could be far better is worth the price to bring one of them in.

The issue for me with both Jones and Trubisky is they make bad decisions too often.  The Giants tried to load up on weapons in the offseason for Jones and he hasn't delivered -- only 10 TD passes in 11 games.  Both of these QBs have been in terrible offenses, but it's hard to figure out how much blame goes to the QB.

I'm all for supporting family but the excuses his wife and kids make for all urban Meyers horribleness is ridiculous, want to support your dad hold him accountable and demand he make better choices instead of continuing to justify minimize excuse and enable the horribleness.

When my Dad acts like a D in private or public I call him out on his BS, no reason urbans family shouldn't do the same.

They can all get bent👎

X QB , to mentor Lawrence , he use to play for Jville , successful OC , not just with Brady , offense was good prior with Winston , Winston just couldn’t stop with the picks ,  I won’t be shocked if he gets the job .

The only thing going against him is he may not be available until Mid February.

It’s sort of funny that 90% of us knew hiring Meyer would be a failure, and yet there’s a Billionaire in Khan paying millions for a really stupid hire.
Teams can now start interviewing out of work coaches, and coaches that are currently employed can start the interview process 2 weeks earlier, starting this season.

Jalen Hurts is not a top 10, top 15 and possibly not even a top 20 QB.

Didn't even know Meyer was fired.  Dude should just stay in college.

I'm not interested in either. But I dont like to settle either- I'm the guy who is gonna keep searching for the Elite QB till I believe we have one. Because it really comes down to just that, you either have one or you dont. Neither Jones Nor Trubisky are capable of becoming THAT guy, so why waste your time. Might as well fly with Minshew or Hurts, till you get your ELITE QB.

Both have terrible o-lines, which I think is huge.

Yes that’s it I’m a coward.  Or I don’t really post outside of the blog to begin with (besides the meme thread) and i don’t care to have a conversation with you. But it’s cool keep with the insults and name calling. You’re so cool

It really is that simple. He is not capable of growing to that level.

QB next year needs to be Minshew as the place holder for Kenny Pickett, or Minshew is a two year starter and draft a QB in 2023.

I personally would draft Pickett and sit him a year.

I could see Dougie P being a reactionary hire in JAX the same way he was after chip

Chip much like urban was a huge D, pederson was hired because of his " emotional intelligence" and he he was well liked by his staff and players and the organization.

That team organization could use some emotional Intelligence, while I don't think Doug is a great talent evaluator or X and O guy I think with the right staff he can like he did in Philly be a good leader of men, just hide your secretaries Mr Kahn😉

What do you think about Daniel Jones?

The Giants will have two high picks and likely a new GM.  They would be in the market for Wilson or pick a new QB in the draft.

Acknowledging that Jones would possibly be included in a Wilson trade, would you be interested if he was available?

I guess the question ultimately comes to do whether or not one believes that Jones can essentially become Tannehill, and whether or not that would be 'good enough'.  I think a Tannehill led team can work for a team with a very strong defense and a very strong running game, where he is almost never counted on to carry the offensive load, but rather to take advantage of the opportunities the running game can open up.   Jones might have that as his ceiling.  I think he could get there, if he eliminated the bad plays.  The second part is that this team is very far from being a defensive juggernaut type and Howie has shown absolutely no proclivity to being able to draft for such a team.

Therefore, I would only be interested in him, with a new GM and likely a new DC... preferably one that is connected to Pittsburgh or Baltimore.   (and yes, I know that we have dipped into the Baltimore well before, but not with a defensive coaching staff looking to play the style that Baltimore plays.  Those guys were trained in the 'Baltimore' way and identified players that fit that style, then were asked to find targets for a completely different style of defense.  We are seeing that Rasul Douglas, for example, can play... just in a completely different system... one that we never ran.).  Ultimately, what this team needs is a SINGLE vision.  Right now, this team just swings on the pendulum from one extreme to the other and has no organizational philosophy unifying the entire thing together.  We want productive players in college, regardless of athleticism.... then we want athleticism with no regard to production... then we want big WRs... then speedy... then this, then that...

I must've missed that page lol.
