I mean it’s not even true. He signed with Buffalo as a QB and started a preseason game. Then he was a backup QB in the XFL. That should more than tell you all you need to know.

He was a project.  That was known.  It's not unusual for them to be backups early on. 

It's crazy that he was such an enticing project and was given up on so quickly.

Our Govts Scientific Advisors have been laughably inaccurate for the past 2 years or so; if they worked in a commercial setting they would have been fired long ago as the revenue would be less than what they say.  No projection/model has been near the reality so it's an act of self harm for anyone that looks at their projections and thinks that will happen.  Even the scaremonger projection last week has been quietly withdrawn.

For us, cases are up, but COVID hospital admissions and deaths are not reflecting that uptick yet.   The last 2 will very likely seem some increase, but the data from SA shows high cases, but the admissions and deaths don't hit the same threshold.  So far, we are seeing that same trend

If we didn't test for Omicron, would we even know it existed?

WFT should be close to full strength by Tuesday.  This worked out pretty well for them

I've super late because I've been really busy the past 2 days. Just found out about the delayed game. I'm surprised they did that because in the offseason they said that weren't going to. IIRC they said they would just have the team forfeit. I'm guessing they feel that's unfair now but didn't back then?

That's not quite what they said. They said they would forfeit games if they weren't able to reschedule. But they were able to reschedule in this case, so here we are.
