If you build the team, and Hurts doesn't work out, you're in a better position to shop for a QB, you'd be trading picks that are likely in the 20s (like the Rams did for Stafford), you'd have a team that could win immediately with a veteran or provide a sheltered environment for a rookie, and either way, whether you pick in the mid-teens or the twenties, you're not drafting an elite talent. So there really isn't a lot of opportunity cost going with Hurts/Minshew next season and building up the team.

Seems like every game I watch this year is a team with a big lead in the 3rd that Ds around all quarter and ends up giving up the lead (or almost) by the 4th.

Hearing Joe Buck referring to a cartoon as "dope" was one of the worst things of the day.

I changed my mind on trading for Rodgers. This dude plays so effortlessly. He doesn't look anywhere near done. He's easily going to play at an elite level for another 5 years.

Rasul Douglas always had ball skills; the Eagles system just didn’t fit what he does well.  On his last INT it was definitely a jersey grab by him, but DPJ also put his forearm into Douglas’ chest trying to get separation.  Ref let them both play and it’s hard to throw a flag after the result

This seems like a move strictly with COVID in mind. You'd hate to have a kicker get sidelined during the week and be forced to sign a replacement at short notice. Instead, you have someone who at least has worked with the snapper and holder in practice. But I sure hope we never have to see McCrane in a real game. I'm pretty sure he's better than Mark Simoneau but his career numbers are not good.

He been one of my guys forever.  Wanted him as an UDFA that year.  Had a thread in IWTETG. He didn't even appear on some draft site rankings. No combine invite. Got no respect ever. Remember reading one scouting report that said he lacks athleticism.  Don't know what they watched. 

He always reminded me of Marlon Mack. Similar elusiveness, and a good pass catcher too.
