Shame on you! (said with tongue in cheek).  As good as your Draft appears to be ... I defer to justrelax's assessment ... I think having Linderbaum is more valuable to the team's future than giving up one of the three players you took in the 1st Round would be.

I made my selection fully aware that:

A) A LB will not be pur first pick

B) It would never happen Especially with an OL like Linderbaum sitting there at pick 19.

It was more of what I want rather than what I think would happen.

imo OL in round 1 right now is a waste of resources for this team. We are currently set at all 5 positions even if Kelce retires. And Stout can take a 4th or 5th rounder and have him ready.

This isn’t about Hurts.  You were asked very clearly what his weaknesses are.  You said his only weakness is inexperience.

You are not objective.

This is about Hurts, you literally asked me about Hurts.

I didn't realize that Linderbaum was still available at pick 20 when I voiced my approval. In fairness to @HazletonEagle, his draft gives us six players I expect to be major contributors. That's a huge draft.

Still want Linderbaum, though.

18th in the league in Red zone Attempts yet the Eagles are 6th in Red zone Visits.

To give how much of a lack the trust is. Titans have basically just as many visits and yet Tannenhill has 18 more attempts than Hurts.

I'll go one step further.

Jimmy G has the same red zone attempts as HurtS(Jimmy G stinks btw) and the 9ers are 20th in RZ appearances.

It's ok if the coach doesnt trust him, dont blame him. just stating facts

You aren't stating facts.  You said Sirianni doesn't trust Hurts to throw in the Redzone.  He throws in the Redzone pretty much every game.

Would Lock be on your short list as a viable replacement for Hurts?

Rabbit ears on your tv, amiright?

I still have rabbit ears on my TV.  When I get a sales phone call for Dish or Direct TV I tell them they can have me as a customer if they can match or beat what I currently pay.  They salivate ... but only for a moment and deflate quickly when they hear the dollar amount.  Some of them get up the courage to ask me who my provider is and I always answer "Rabbit Ears Network." They quickly hang up.

Aside from running and the much hyped leadership, what tools does he possess?

He can make every throw that is needed, has excellent athleticism, toughness and maturity.  There are no tools he is lacking.  The only thing he does not possess is a rocket arm that only a handful of QBs in the league have.

Met her a ton. she was a local legend. She would be at the Golden Nugget(crap hole bar in south jerz) once or twice a week with the Van Scivers. I know the VS's they used to be part owners in Atco Raceway and ran jet cars. etc etc

Yes he is.  The Eagles are 18th in red zone passing attempts, even though they are sixth in red zone trips.

I gotta say, I believe the eagles lose this one, redskins still have a good D, even though dallas beat the snot out of them, but we aint dallas

Then why does he have Hurts pass the ball when they are in the Redzone?

Because you cannot be one dimensional in the NFL, or it’s easier to stop you. The fact that they are 18th in attempts, and sixth in trips, should tell you all you need to know

To further prove to Lurie he sucks

With that said, a substantial part of the value that Linderbaum brings is his ability to be the startin OG as well as starting OC.  Having him start at OG allows the team to move on from Branden Brooks, which helps the available Cap situation considerably.  In addition Jack Driscoll moves back from OG to OT, which means Dillard becomes even more expendable than he already is.  If you can get a 3rd Round pick (or even possibly a conditional 2nd round pick) for Dillard, that is good for the team.  So Linderbaum comes with a bit of a Domino Effect in my opinion.

With that said, thanks for answering.  It is interesting to hear your thought processes.

Part of my thinking was that as attractive a prospect as Devin Lloyd is at LB, I'm willing to see what we get at LB with the continued development of Edwards and Taylor.

Yea we aren’t going to go with unbiased here.

Driscoll isn't an OT.  His arms are too short to make that a permanent home.  He's best suited inside.  And, I think he could even be the OC next year.  He'd be pretty close to Kelce, as close as anyone could be.  Linderbaum is close as well, but with a much bigger investment needed.

Driscoll just needs to stay healthy... most of all.  But, I see him at worst being the 6th OL, and could fill in anywhere on the OL.
