Missed Watkins and Smith on consecutive throws in 3rd quarter.

Even the near catch by Reagor should have been farther downfield.

No I mean back in Pitt...before that knockout.  There was a little bit of rumbling about him, but nothing like this.  He as never the same after that, which at that point Burfict should have been banned from the league.

I mean if I had to guess (besides the bipolar and CTE stuff which I agree with) I'd say they were losing to a bad team and he wasn't getting many targets? I'm guessing that's why he lost his head?

Agreed.   He likely is dealing with mental issues from that (and other hits).  He needs help and I hope he gets it.  The guy just isn't right.   And I hope the people around him that he trusts can help him get the help he needs.

IIRC he was under pressure on each of those and they were all off balance throws.  The sample size is so small though it's hard to look at objectively.   What really gets me is his reluctance to throw the ball away in timely manners.  He took a huge hit today waiting till the last second to throw it away.

Sirianni noted the sense of calm on the sideline even when they went down 10 early.

A lot of the catches downfield were made with the players coming to catch the ball high/low.  Very little was hit in stride today

Burfict messed that man up.  He must have a CTE issue, but that is exacerbated with an unstable personality.  Quite how he passed a physical without a brain scan eludes me

it kind of sucks. We have 3 1st rd picks, and none will be in the top 10, or even 15. And 2 of them most likely will be in the 20's.

While the Giants will have 2 picks in the Top 10.   The top 10-15 picks where blue chip impact players are taken.  We get none, and THe Giants will get 2. SMH. Cant win for losing sometimes.

Eagles ideal playoff matchups in order from best to worst.

Arizona - not happening, so moving on

Rams - will be major underdogs, but Stafford blows, so maybe if he has a terrible game they could keep it interesting and pull a 4th quarter upset

Packers - if Lambeau has frigid freezing temps and it turns into a low scoring game where it's really hard to throw the ball, maybe the Eagles could go in there and run the hell out of the ball and pull an upset. Otherwise, Rodgers is going to slice and dice this D

Bucs - warm weather, good defense, elite passing attack. Don't see a big chance for an upset here

Cowboys - worst matchup of all of them. Indoors vs a high octane offense and a playmaking defense. Just see no way the Eagles can hang with the Cowboys. The Eagles are built for outdoors and the elements. Indoors and that fast track where the offense will have to constantly score to keep up is an awful matchup.

They won the field position battle in the second half too.  That helped tremendously.  This is why I mentioned earlier I want them to have more success running out of lighter run packages.  Give more options on the PA.  It's not hard to cover 2 and the flat off our PA plays.

We only had three first-half possessions and crossed mid-field on all three.
