Maybe the better qb you are looking for is the version of Hurts that we get next season. As you clearly state, he played okay. Maybe by the fall he gets better?

And if he doesn't, I don't see the big deal. It's not like we are picking in the top 5 and deciding between Hurts and a franchise qb, or that Watson is demanding to be traded here.

If he does that would be great.  Would surprise me very much but I'd be just fine with that.

JFC.  That stadium.  Ahahahahaha.  Classy by Hurts though.  Nice to see.  Glad no one was hurt and good thing that kid was wearing a helmet.

At least it wasn't sewage this time.

I’m good with Hurts for another season to see if he can progress as a passer, unless a better option comes available via trade

Anyone know what set the nut job off?

I hope your mommy doesnt walk in your room while you are thinking/talking about Hurts.

If SF can get a field goal on the board....game over.

Maybe he didn't like his helmet again?  I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't throw his couch out his window again before the end of the day.

Damnit. Lance picked off.

Greg the Leg hooks it left. Cards still lead Dallas 3-0.

I want the Eagles to play the Cowboys. It all depends on Dak. When Dak is bad, he makes that team very beatable. Zeke and Pollard don't really scare me that much.  If Dak is erratic and if the Eagles commit to the run, I think we can beat them.

You are under the impression we have a defense that’s able to make Dak erratic and bad. Heinicke completed 75% of his passes and he doesn’t have lamb, cooper and Gallup.

Ugh, that 3-way tie elimination scenario for the eagles looks by far the most likely as I don't think SF is winning this game

pathetic that the only real hope now is the Panthers

Yep. It depends a lot on how Gannon schemes the defense.  No matter what though that would be an issue against any team in the playoffs. Kupp would destroy our soft zones.  I still would prefer Dallas, if only for the chance to possibly knock them out. If we lose, we weren't supposed to be there anyway.

49ers defense is good enough to keep them close. I tend to believe lance will break off some big runs and they’ll wind up kicking a couple field goals and winning something like 9-6 or 13-7

Darnold not playing like Darnold and has Carolina marching on this drive.

Nah- The issues Hurts has, are the exact same issues he had coming out of college, he hasn't improved, there is nothing he is doing that makes me think he can improve to the point of being an actual NFL starting caliber QB.

At some point you are holding back the development of guys like Watkins, and Smith with keeping Hurts as your (cough, cough) QB.

If the niners and Carolina don’t win today you’re gonna get to see Dallas next week cause I’m guessing Dallas and the eagles would both likely have something to play for (unless Dallas loses to Arizona)

I doubt that is the real reason.  Probably somebody in Brown's camp trying to justify his behavior.  Tampa needs to win to keep seeding. I don't see them benching him for less than a mil.

On the subway watching the Antonio Brown video. WTF was that?

I think the Eagles might be able to rest players next week if everything goes as planned.

People in Browns corner LOVE to make him the victim.  He's the perfect example of society today.  Cry victim and get empathy before people know the real reason.
