I doubt that is the real reason.  Probably somebody in Brown's camp trying to justify his behavior.  Tampa needs to win to keep seeding. I don't see them benching him for less than a mil.

Plus there’s another week to the season. That’s a load of ish.

Nah- The issues Hurts has, are the exact same issues he had coming out of college, he hasn't improved, there is nothing he is doing that makes me think he can improve to the point of being an actual NFL starting caliber QB.

At some point you are holding back the development of guys like Watkins, and Smith with keeping Hurts as your (cough, cough) QB.

That's where I'm at. I'm a fan of Hurts, he's a great kid and has played better than I expected, but we need a better passer to fully develop and utilize the personnel we have.

If AB had not lied about his vaccination status, the whole incentive thing would be a moot point. When his team needed him, he was found with a hookey vaccination card.

AB screwed AB

Its not the real reason. A reporter posted Brown was dumb because he quit on the team when he was so close to getting his incentives. He then posted those numbers saying he left a lot of money on the table.

Just another twitter loser taking one persons story and making up another with it to get views.

Not sure SF is going to help us.

I'm afraid that is where we are now.  If we go into next year with him starting so be it but we need to be looking at other options now as the odds of him developing much further are not particularly good.

And guess which one will get more attention. Twitter loser is such an appropriate name. So many of them.

I get why we need N.O. and Minny to lose.  But why do we need SF to win?  I’m sure it’s been covered, but I’m not going back to research.

I think it has to do with avoiding a 3 way tie that would have us on the outside.

Carolina might have a better chance because the Saints have no offense right now.  Lance is young so he might struggle today.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I would go all in to try to get one of Wilson/Rodgers/Watson.

We have 3 picks that Howie is likely to blow, let's use them to go get our QB.

I think the Eagles might be able to rest players next week if everything goes as planned.

That niners game is going to go down to the wire. Trey lance can’t throw well enough so it’s gonna have to be niners defense creating a turnover to get them points.

You think that helps this team? I don;t think rest helps them one bit. I don't see them beating any playoff team but playing the Cowgirls like a playoff game gets them their biggest chance with what they will face the next week.

In what way? Are you hoping we dont make the playoffs?

or vise versa?

That would be best. In reality as far as draft capital. Our team will get embarrassed in the playoffs

We need to avoid a three-way tie with NO and SF.  In that scenario our head-2-head with NO is useless.  NO goes in first at #6 with the best conference record of the three and SF gets #7 with their head-2-head over us.

Note that if SF loses out (Rams next week), we get in.

I took the Texans with the points. There’s no way in hell they should’ve been 13.5 point underdogs with trey lance playing QB. I get road game and they aren’t good but they’ve actually been showing improvement every week and lance even when he played earlier this year didn’t look good.

That has confused a lot of people. It breaks the chances of a 3 way tie

HOUSTON TEXANS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: The 49ers winning might not seem like it should help the Eagles since they’re ahead of Philly in the playoff picture. But their win would help to eliminate a three-way tie scenario with New Orleans that would hurt the Birds. In a perfect world, the Panthers will beat the Saints and the 49ers will lose to the Texans in order to maximize Philly’s chances at a higher playoff seed. But those two results probably aren’t likely. The more likely outcome is the Saints win and the 49ers also win. Which is OK from the standpoint of helping Philly clinch this weekend. Root for the 49ers.

Would have been funnier if he went back on the team flight

Entertainment.....enjoy.

Niners are losing... Jesus!

Since we're on the cusp, I don't mind seeing one more game. The difference in our own pick just missing out is not likely to be much diference than going one and done which I expect anyway.
