I'm afraid that is where we are now.  If we go into next year with him starting so be it but we need to be looking at other options now as the odds of him developing much further are not particularly good.

They traded up to take DeVonta Smith.  He's currently 45th in the NFL in receptions as the Eagles #1 WR.  The QB does not get him the ball, that's all there is to it. They 100% need to bring in a QB who knows how to get the ball to his WR.  DeVonta Smtih is a wasted investment if they continue down this path.

That would be best. In reality as far as draft capital. Our team will get embarrassed in the playoffs

So pick somewhere between 16 -19 and watch other teams play rather than pick 20-24 and watch our team in the playoffs?

The talent difference there isn't worth it.

Would have been funnier if he went back on the team flight

What on earth is wrong with this guy... What madness.

Not that surprised. Texans have been playing better down the stretch and Trey Lance is playing who is literally a rookie

Just saying the Bucs are gonna charge him for that jersey… could’ve at least sold it and made money off of it. Lol

I mean I wouldn't put it past him... He's absolutely nuts that guy.

If Saints lose are we out of the 3 way tie nightmare scenario?

You think that helps this team? I don;t think rest helps them one bit. I don't see them beating any playoff team but playing the Cowgirls like a playoff game gets them their biggest chance with what they will face the next week.

I think it helps our RB corps get healthy and it makes it harder for Dallas to game plan for us in the playoffs if we just use a vanilla plan next week.  If we clinch tonight, there isn't any reason to risk our key starters next week when improving wild card seeding doesn't really matter much.

Darnold is strip sacked. Saints in a good position to tie it up.

I think so yeah. If Vikings and Saints both lose we are in. But I don't think Saints are going to lose.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I would go all in to try to get one of Wilson/Rodgers/Watson.

We have 3 picks that Howie is likely to blow, let's use them to go get our QB.

Tough call.  Don't want all the baggage with Watson, Rodgers is 38, and Wilson has lost a step.  Plus I don't think we are ready to make a big run next year even with one of those guys.  I'm looking two years out.

I'm leaning toward using those pics to stack the D.

But Panthers are winning so we good lol. Actually if Panthers won and niners lost we could move up a seed.

Yes.

I didn’t understand the line for that game. Jimmy g i could understand -13.5. But lance is a rookie and the Texans have been playing much better. That was a ridiculous line imo

Since we're on the cusp, I don't mind seeing one more game. The difference in our own pick just missing out is not likely to be much diference than going one and done which I expect anyway.

could sway pick by 3 spots. That might not sould like much till you start thinking about the players we missed out on by a spot or two.

And Sam Darnold does a Darnold.

That might be the dream scenario I guess.

What an incredible catch by the gunner of the Cards on the fake punt!

Not gonna happen with Howie, especially in the draft slots that we will be picking in.

Expect 3 Reagor/Dillard level players if we do draft those picks.

What a freaking catch.

You say that and then go back and look at some of the talent we missed out on by a pick or two.  It's not just the first pick, it's every one of our own picks in each rd thats gets lowered

As long as one of them wins I don't care. Cause I think Vikes are going down hard tonight.

Trey Lance may blossom into a superstar, but holy crap that dude is raw.
