Rodgers is almost 40 years old. To give up those resources and not have a team built already to go with Rodgers puts this team in worse shape

Watson is the only real option that can be considered BUT with all his off field issues and only wanting to go to Miami makes that not even an option.

I don’t think they shamed them into taking him. I think the niners probably thought his ceiling was higher due to his athleticism than mac jones who was a safer but likely lower ceiling. Not saying that is true but how they likely viewed it.

We once had someone on this board who advocated to bench foles and have his first career start be a divisional playoff game…. 

That new 49ers stadium has never had any energy in it.  So stupid to build the thing a hour away from the city.

No thanks. This roster has too many holes for us to be going after an old QB. Neither Rodgers nor Wilson make us a SB contender.
