My SIL.....who has Lupus.  Refused to get vaxxed.  Got it...Was feeling sick but still doing crap out and about.  Which is ridiculously irresponsible.  Went and toured the Biltmore the other day.  My wife was pissed at her.  Apparently she had to go to the hospital last night.  Very selfish person.

wow. sorry to hear that.

I'll bet the Eagles will be one of the Saturday Wildcard games.

Maybe. But there is only one Saturday game this year. And if they do play Saturday Eagles get an extra day of prep against their opponent, as long as they don’t play Dallas in the WC round.

Just a reminder :

The QB's we have beaten this year : Heinke, Glennon, Gilbert, Z Wilson, T Siemian, Bridgewater, Goff and Darnold. The only Real QB we beat all year was M Ryan 1st game of the year. Otherwise they are 0-fers against real QB's

Does this mean we can't go to the playoffs?

No one is saying otherwise.  But we took care of business on defense against them.  We only lost to Daniel Jones because of our own QB played like he wanted to join the list above.

Sorry to hear- I got sick on Christmas, my wife never got sick, and we never distanced since my first home test was negative. Glad you are feeling better, hope you wife gets better. We have a few people out with COVID right now. All seem to be doing ok.

My Uncle however caught it recently and is now on a ventilator. He is approaching 80 and recently had a heart valve replacement so we are very concerned about him.

Very sorry to hear about that.   My dad caught Covid (we assume) about a month ago.  Was sick as anything for almost 3 weeks without telling anyone how bad it was and that he hadn't seen a doctor yet.  I forced him to get checked out and finally got him on some antibiotics - he'd developed pneumonia by that time - but he's on the mend.   He's pushing 80 now, and has had bypass surgery in the past, diabetes, etc.

Praying for your uncle.  Don't give up hope.

WIthout our Oline and run game our QB is one of the above.

Pass on both. Over the hill. Our current DC isn’t perfect but he’s young and he adapts. First year guy with promise. Just as players make their biggest jump from first to second year, so do coaches.

Over the Hill? Denver is currently ranked as the 5th best defense in the league, lol. He was top 5 in Chicago as well.

Sounds like over the hill to me, lol. This guy

Indubitably. Our backups plus Rico versus their backups, that’s a W.

I wouldn’t go that far

There are two.  One was moved to Monday night.

Thanks. I have hope, but my cousin does not have much. He and his dad talked right before and his dad told him dont let me on the ventilator more than a week. 😞

Lawsuit time.

I stubbed my pinky toe.

i would like to ask for 25 million please

I think Sirianni should get some coach of the year consideration, but to me Vrabel should be the runaway favorite, with Taylor and Belichick ahead of Nick.

AR coaching tree is a lot like the Belichek coaching tree.  Great coaches themselves but their assistants don’t tend to pan out as HCs. The assistants need to move around to other coaches to get a better feel.  (Rivera and Harbaugh, for example).

Harbaugh went straight from the Eagles to the Ravens.  Pederson was straight from Reid to the Eagles. Reid's tree also produced Childress who at least had some playoff appearances.  McDermott probably should also be considered as part of the tree.  Rivera is arguably part of it although he didn't have much time with the Eagles.  I think Reid's tree really is far more successful than Belichick's.  I don't think Belichick's has produced multiple coaches with playoff wins.   I mean the thing is that all of them are really a part of the Paul Brown coaching tree anyway.  I do think if you were looking to distinguish them I think the division is maybe the Bill Walsh vs. Don Shula trees.

Whoa... that photographer really dodged a bullet.  He could have gotten smashed under all that weight and just nearly escaped.   The one kid closest to the video seems to have taken the worst of it.

That stadium really needs to be condemned at this point.   How many incidents are there going to be before the league steps in and actually does something about it?

And if we can play against the likes of the following in the postseason.....the skies the limit.

Daniel Jones

Zach Wilson

Mike Glennon

Oh right, duh. I thought there was only two originally for some reason. These wacky 7 seeds.

How about the camera guy that gets landed on and kicks at the Eagles fan that fell.

I understand.   Our school board president was in really bad shape during the peak of Covid back in the late spring of 2020 when it first hit.  He was on a ventilator for about a month, back when the ventilator was the last resort and for most, was just a prolonging of the inevitable, but he eventually pulled through.  Back to normal now a year and a half later.   To a certain extent, I believe it comes down to a frame of mind and a willingness to fight it.  The human body has an amazing ability to heal itself when the mind is willing to put in the fight (not in all cases obviously), but many times.

Our struggles yesterday had nothing to do with Sanders being out.  Hes overrated.  Scott filled in just fine, Sanders would have added nothing yesterday

Probably would’ve added a fumble.

Yeah, if you go back to the 60s... there's likely only 3 trees, that of Paul Brown, Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry.  And consider this: in the 1950s, Lombardi and Landry were together with the Giants.

Fast forward a decade and those trees morphed into Shula, Walsh (both off the Paul Brown tree), Landry continued, and Don Coryell came out of the college ranks (which is where Joe GIbbs actually came from).

The coaching fraternity is so tight though that the branches cross pollinate as well.

While I’m having fun with this run, this needs to be understood. Their strength of victory is the 2nd worst in the entire league. Really excited to see the Eagles face a top 5-6 team. That’s going to be the true bellwether for me and particularly Hurts this season.

Let's forfeit our playoff spot and give it to New Orleans.
