The draft is his glaring problem

Generally, I agree. 2018 was strong for him & id say 2021 has been very promising early on. He has a chance in this draft to help this team to make a massive step forward. If they use all 3 firsts & hit on them, Eagles can be back to being a respectable team very quickly

Yep, undercover Dallas fan.  Or else you would be aware that the Eagles are starting 17-18 players that were drafted since 2018.  That's almost 5 starters per draft.  Well above national averages.

Hurts is not a finished product by any means. Let's so how far he progresses next season before jumping to conclusions.

I'd be overjoyed if he ends up a bigger, much more physical Jeff Garcia, who didn't exactly have a gun attached to his shoulder.

He cut Chris Carter to save his life - and Carter has said so. Carter was a total mess, he needed a wakeup call to turn his life around.

It's been a while since we are in 100% agreement.  Especially here.

How did this Sanders vs Westbrook thing happen?

Over your head, I see.

Obviously you're not going to call a play and expect it to break down.  But if you have a QB capable of making those types of plays, then you can design and call plays that make it "easier" for the QB to "roll out" if the play breaks down.  Reid has been designing those types of plays for 20+ years.

This game is another fine example of how bad the product that is the NFL has fallen.  Nobody has even commented once in the past hour lol

It's QB play.  There are so many teams that have average or terrible QB play.  And with not much talent coming in this draft class it could be slim pickings next year.

A guy like Minshew or Mariota could be a starter somewhere next year.

We need to showcase Reid Sinnett against Dallas.

He's the secret weapon though...can't let other teams in on our secret!

Howie and Hurts haters his week:

"The team got lucky and made the playoffs.   But Hurts is horrible and Howie is even worse"

Rational fan response:

"Hurts made the pro bowl and took them from 2-5 to 9-7 with a team full of Howie players (20+ drafted players plus another dozen or so acquisitions).

Howie and Hurts haters:

"The pro bowl is a popularity contest, means nothing."

Rational fan response: "Jason Kelce and Slay made it as well.  And Slay was a Howie acquisition as well".

Howie and Hurts haters: "What about Justin Jefferson??? We should have drafted Justin Jefferson.  And Howie should have never drafted Hurts. Howie's drafts are a problem."

Any rational fan:

Embarrassing coaching job by the Browns tonight that can only be explained by a team that is tanking.

Watt at 21.5 sacks now, almost tied record but another Steelers pass rusher beat him to Baker just in time. Might see record broke this year

It’s like Stefanski is trying to prove a point that Mayfield ain’t it. Kinda like our offense with Hurts early in the year.

Why would we get rid of a RB that's likely better than most those guys?  You guys want to let a near pro-bowl level RB go (when healthy) so we spend slightly less on a RB like Michel?  No thanks.

Letting Sanders walk or trade is playing with fire.  With the way these RB's get banged up, we could easily fall back into the Smallwood days of RB's.  And what will that do for this new offensive scheme?

When I saw Wendell on Sunday I said out loud, "Holy ish, he’s still in the league.

Not since his rookie year. He's been a major disappointment in that area since then.

And Brian Westbrook has 10x the football IQ of Sanders. Not even close.  You ever see Westbrook run out of bounds at the end of a game when trying to kill the clock?  Did you see it once in his entire career?   Let alone twice on the same drive?   Ball security?  Sanders leaves way too many balls on the ground to be compared to Westbrook.    Again... no more hyperbole, please.

Comparing Miles to 36 is outright blasphemy.

The Browns all year have been super confusing.  the Packers game on Christmas they could run the ball every single time on Green Bay with how effective Chubb was. Yet some reason he’s on the sideline for an entire drive, he only gets 17 carries and baker is out there slinging it 36 times and throwing 4 picks.

I just saw the outbreak list.  I guess we finally got hit by Omicron.  Probably should Rest Starters next week.

I just saw the end of that game and it looked like Andy Reid was coaching against the worst ranked run defense in 50mph winds.   Mayfield was terrible, they had plenty of time and they didn't even try to run.  More than a few coaches seem to hate running the ball.

Harris should have knelt ar the 1 for a big send off on O for Ben.

Never been a fan but Cool way for Big Ben to end it at Heinz field

Kinda feel bad having all those cameras shoved in his face while trying to enjoy the moment

Both teams...this is just a bad year of football in general.  College season was lackluster, the NFL has turned into which team can suck less.
