No you called some of us Dallas fans because we called you out for saying Sanders is equal to Westbrook. Which still blows my mind anybody who watches football would make that comparison.

Sanders skill set is as good as Westbrook's was.   He hasn't played nearly enough to compare his career with Westbrook's yet.  That's why he needs to stay healthy.  If healthy, Sanders can put up the same type of numbers on a per-game basis with the same type of big play ability.

So yes, skill sets are similar but Sanders needs to stay healthy and play several more years before comparing their overall careers.  I hope that helps you understand the difference between comparing skill sets and comparing overall careers.

I mean you're not really interested in legitimate conversation. You've been a ghost all season, and only now show up when we clinch a playoff spot, posting nothing but superlative articles and hyping up this roster to be more than it is. When people point out the criticisms with the team and your fluffing, you constantly move the goalposts. So, all that's left is what you're getting now.

Westbrook's best year he posted 278 carries for 1333 yards rushing, with 7 TDs. He ALSO posted 90 catches for 771 yards that year, with another 5 TDs receiving. He also added 4 punt returns for 79 yards. Sanders will never approach those numbers in a single year, not even close.

Westbrook is one of my favorite Eagles of all time.  Can't compare him and Sanders.

Pretty much everyone who makes it to the NFL has skills.  Sanders might have a ton of skill and talent but he doesn't always show it or do so consistently.

Some more fun with Westbrook's numbers, from 2004-2008 when he was the guy, he averaged:

251 attempts, 1140 rush yards, 7 Tds, with 82 catches and 740 yards receiving, with another 6 TDs. This is on a 16 game average over that span.

200 carries would snap Sanders like a twig. Never mind the extra 82 catches. It's not even close.

I've been around most of the season.  I haven't bothered to get into long-winded debates for most of the year because I know how this blog gets when you have a bunch of posters who will never like Hurts and think that Howie Roseman is the anti-christ.   But I figured some of you guys would eventually calm down, especially after they went on  super run and made the playoffs.

But when I repeatedly kept reading the same, boring, inaccurate, absurd statements about Hurts and to a lesser extent, Howie, I decided to start posting to see if you guys were really serious or trolling.  Unfortunately, looks like you guys are serious.  So then I tried to post positive articles about the team just so some of you realized how the rest of the city and country views the team.   I was hoping I could get some of the miserable posters here to come out of their rut. That still didn't help and here we are today...back to the same, childish mud slinging by the same people.  Disappointing.

Did you watch Westy play? I would say that being generous, Sanders run ability may be slightly above Westbrook, but Westbrook was a head and shoulders above better receiver. It's not even close. Sanders is a good player, but Westbrook, as part of a pass first offense, was leaps and bounds above what Sanders means to this team. IMO

Dayum, forgot how good he really was.  2000 total yards and 12 TD's.  STUD.

How the hell could you make this statement? Can you please show me one, just one, example of a guy who came into the league and had injuries his first 3 years, to then go on and be MORE healthy over the course of his career?

He was a big fat phony! Couldn't even use his real name!

Add in a rookie WR1, rookie starting LG, and a young LT, pretty good start to the Siri era.

Sure.  You have been destroyed the last couple months, you think changing the argument or flat out hiding from it is a win.  It's not.

He also Loves to claim he’s a top 10 running back. I can name at least 10 I’d take over miles sanders:

dalvin cook

henry

ekeler

chubb

jonathan Taylor

najee Harris

Alvin kamara

Joe mixon

Aaron jones

mccaffrey ( if I’m gonna have an injury prone running back making a lot of money then i might as well have the best one)

Could make the argument for:

fournette— definitely has the talented as he went 4th overall in his draft. He had the unfortunate drafting by the jags

zeke (at this stage. 2 years ago it’s not even close)

david Montgomery

I mean, yeah, he's played every game this year. But he got hurt before the season even started if you remember. And, he played a full season here in 2019 and 2020 (until he got benched).

I wouldn't say Miles is a better runner either - better long speed I guess.  36 all-day.  Shady vs. Westbrook is a bit more interesting.

I took a rash of ish in here saying Miles was injury prone before this season.

I said NS should be *mentioned* for coach of the year, took a rash of ish.

You took something I said wrong and have never let it go. Thats a you problem.

You should ask your doctor for some cream to clear up all those rashes brah

Hes averaging more yards per carry this season, and last season than pretty much all of those guys. People here have no clue what an excellent runner he is. Its bewildering. But, the injuries...
