Correct.  And why did I bring Wentz up?

Because you asked me to show you an example of a player who missed as many games as Sanders did during his first three seasons but came back and had good careers.  Wentz actually  missed more gamest than Sanders due to injury during his first 3 seasons but has come back and only missed 4 in the past 4 years.  It's a near perfect example.   And it's a Wentz success story so it was not intended to bash Wentz.  You should be thanking me.

So  you don't want to compare them, but you brought Wentz up as the comparison ?????????

any chances graham comes back for the playoffs?

You don’t get it. You’re sticking to this "games played” thing. How many games did Sanders have to leave early due to injury? Or leave for stretches to come back later in the game?

So of course an RB in a committee won’t have the same snaps as the QB, but for Sanders being such a stud according to you, you’d think he’d be faaar closer to Wentz’s snap counts. Instead, Wentz effectively had 1100 more snaps in his first three years. Based on his career so far, it would take Sanders two full seasons to reach that amount alone.

Wentz always has been more durable than Miles "Glass” Sanders.

Ok, I'm not going to be "as nice now" because you're either being intentionally obtuse or you simply do not understand the game of football... if you think comparing the snap counts of a QB to a RB who likely only gets 15-20 touches a game (When a QB touches the ball ON ALMOST EVERY SINGLE PLAY). when trying to show "durability" is an actual valid argument. It's not even close and never will be.

It's literally one of the silliest, most ignorant comparisons I've read in my entire life.  It really is that bad.  If you want to go back and delete your post, I'll understand.

We’d be lucky if he’s ready for OTA/TC

I think it’s more that he is doing what he can to mitigate the risk of getting it and also spreading it.

You're being pretty dense as well today.  He asked me to give him an example of a player who was hurt/missed as many games as  Sanders during his first 3 seasons but came back and had a good career.  Wentz is the perfect success story.  The ENTIRE debate was to see if it ever happened.  And it clearly did with Wentz.

Indeed.  And any other read is nonsense.  The point is he is taking precautions and doing all that he can.  It doesn't make you bullet-proof it just decreases the probability that you will catch covid (with all other things being equal, which, in real life, they aren't).

Well, Ezekiel Elliot for his career has had

713, 589 (only 10 games), 890, 937, 789, and 772 snaps. So we can compare to QBs, and understand it will always be less. I stated that above but you refuse to acknowledge it. Sanders is not as durable as Wentz, it’s simple.

Remember when.  What a night.  So glorious.  I laugh at seeing all of those 20 somethings.  Like they sat through all the heartache for decades.  I doubt half of them were even Eagle fans a year prior or have been since.  But still fun to watch.  This just popped up on my YouTube feed and thought I’d share.  I was so hammered that night, I didn’t see any of this.

my thoughts exactly, but what a night! thanks for posting.

It’s unbelievable how many times this turd completely wastes his opportunities

I actually would laugh if the raiders and chargers agreed to just kneel the whole game. Could you imagine collinsworth and al Michaels calling that game if that’s all they were doing lol.

I’d watch it. You know at some point someone is going to do something to go back on their word and screw the other team.

I'm going to make it simple for you.  You asked if it ever happened.  It clearly happened with Wentz.  And Wentz is a success story that should open people's eyes so they realize that players can come back from being injured extensively and still end having good careers, with less injuries.  It's not that complicated, I promise.

Why do I read that quote like the final scene in Dazed and Confused

Except you’re wrong. Wentz played his full rookie year, then suffered a freak ACL injury with 3 games to go his 2nd year. A fractured back forced him to miss some time in his 3rd year, but otherwise he’s been very healthy.

Sanders is injury prone, playing in 53% of snaps in years 1 and 3, with 71% in year 2. I know you struggle with percentages, but those are bad numbers. Those are based on games he actually played in, by the way

Off topic, but anybody following along with the James Webb space telescope? What an amazing feat of engineering. Makes me wish we as humans could dedicate ourselves to advances like this instead of militaristic toys. I understand some of those "toys” have applications that can be used by NASA, but if the funding was reversed I wonder what could be…

And not just the USA, but China, Russia, too

LOL You're trolling, right?

What is the snap % of each of our RB's this year, per games played?  I'll wait.

Or maybe it was self-absorbed nonsense.  Just like his "I displayed a calm composure" comment.  Cringe.

How freaking moronic does someone have to be to take his comment any other way? Sheesh.

I'm actually pretty excited about it.  I'm not an expert on how NASA gets funded but from my understanding, the private sector seems to be doing a pretty good job with the current space programs and NASA seems to be fine with the relationship.  The idea is that the space programs will no longer be at the will of whatever political party is in office.  It cuts the politics out of it so that it can continue to advance without delays that could (and have happened in the past) due to changes in funding.  The major launches are regulated and overseen by NASA with the Amazon's and TESLA's of the world paying for most of the major expenses vs the American taxpayers.  Seems to be a decent trade off, imo.

I don't think Telsa pays for anything, just about all their businesses are financed through either government subsidies or government contracts.

And Musk pretends to be a libertarian.

This is going to be the 3rd time I've had to repost the same stats because apparently you're not reading them correctly.  But I'm still going to be polite about it. AND I'm going to show you what you're doing wrong.

Miles Sanders played in 40 of 49 possible regular season games during his first 3 seasons.  A RB is typically in a rotation, especially his rookie year so there will be games he doesn't start but plays in.  A franchise QB, on the other hand, is likely going to start every game he plays in.

So you looked at "Starts" not "Games Played" for both players not realizing that Sanders had actually played in several more games.

Now let's look at playoff games for Sanders.  1 game in 2019.    Maybe 1 game in 2021. We can't include that one yet because according to reports, he could play.  So that's a total possibility of 50 games.  Meaning Sanders has missed only 10 games during his first 3 seasons.  11 if he does not play next week.

Wentz played in a total of 40 out of 48 regular season games during his first 3 years.  2017 missed 2 playoff games and the Super Bowl.  3 total.  2018 Missed 2 playoff games. Total of 5 playoff games missed out. He played a playoff game in 2019 and even though he was hurt early, it counts.   So we add the 8 regular season games to the 5 playoff games he missed, total of 13 games missed for Wentz (Out of a possible 54 games during his first 3 years.

Even if you want to use percentages, which doesn't really hold water when we are talking about games missed due to injury.... we can still go that route.   Sanders has played in roughly 79.5% games during his first 3 season.  Wentz played in roughly 75.9% of his games during his first 3 seasons.

And Wentz has only missed 4 games during the next 4 seasons .  Point proven for the 3rd time.  And I was nice about it.  :Eagle_smiley:

@downundermike since you apparently endorsed his mistake, I hope this clears it up for you as well.

Meh...seems like a fairly low-key, down to earth guy to me.

I think the world of social media and constant coverage is so intense that even the most mundane, quotidian comment can be misconstrued.

Still comes off as contrived and not genuine.
