Honestly Carson played like crap in this game but really the entire team laid an egg as well. The oline has been bad, WRs have also dropped balls and the defense allowed Lawrence to start the game 14-14. From wentz to the bottom of the roster it’s been an epic dumpster fire day

Yes and hurts was going to be the starter this year and probably next year, so a running offense needs a TE that can run block.

As mentioned ertz is a useless run blocker, he fits well in an offense where he's basically a big slot receiver.

Jack stoll isn't much of a receiver but he's proven to be a good blocker and in 13 personnel Jackson has shown to be surprisingly adequate at blocking.

If one had a plan to sling the ball 40 times a game then keeping ertz might have worked but it's not like goedert is some slouch receiver either.

As long as hurts is the starter this offense will be run first and a run first qbs beat weapon is a big TE that can also block, ergo goedert not ertz.

Pretty sure the titans thought the game was over up 21-0 at the half. And as soon as the Texans got it down to 3. Just turned it back on.

I mean there’s only one guy on here that loves Hurts. Hurts probably isn’t the answer at QB but trading Wentz for a 1st and 3rd was a great deal.  We can **** about Howie drafting Hurts but this team would stink if they still had Wentz.  They’re much better having a first and Hurts

Our cap isn’t so bad that we should let Goedert go. That’s preposterous. 

Going back to pre-draft, I was suggesting trading Goedert and taking Freiermuth who has had a very nice rookie year for the Steelers.
