Why did they blow the whistle?? Not unabated! They're giving this to Dallas. We know already.

It was still a better season than we thought we would have. They have to get a lot better to get where we want to go, but hopefully we're on the right track. Getting a QB is priority 1.

Completely agree. Howie knew that, hence the draft pick accumulation. Time to put the plan in work.

Cox is totally cooked. Don’t think they can do it because of the cap implications, but it’s time to move on. Give Milton the job moving forward.

Howie missed the boat, what else is new. They had teams interested at the trade deadline but he probably wanted the moon & stars for him so he stays. Now what is he worth?

Shanny is so creative

There is the guy that’s been openly rooting for him to get injured all year long. It’s a thing, not a lot of posters in here do it but I have seen some

Not all year. Just the last few weeks 🙂

This team is what we thought they were. Exceeded expectations, but ultimately fair-to-middling and unlikely to trouble good teams.

They have some nice pieces on offense, namely the line, Smitty and Goedert. There’s something for a more talented coordinator to work with on D and the picks to get the talent they don’t have. Sirianni has had a decent rookie HC season and there’s lots to like about a lot of the staff he’s put together on O.

However, some aspects of this team, as we all know, are horrible. These aspects basically all showed out today. Sanders bounces it outside when it’s there through the middle and isn’t a red zone RB. He should be gone. Gannon’s D starts games badly which makes you question his gameplanning. There is an argument he should be gone. There is a lack of the sort of pass rush that you need to compete. Barnett and Kerrigan should be gone. Reagor should never play another NFL down and not just in midnight green. Kid just doesn’t have it.

And then, after all that, there’s the QB. Talented QBs are hard to come by. Most of the borderline ones (and we’ve seen two the last few years in Wentz and now Hurts) either have the talent and not the intangibles (Wentz) or the intangibles and not the talent as a thrower (Hurts). The latter is easier to like but is just as much of a problem in the long run. I like Hurts as a character; there’s lots to like. But you have to be able to go through your progressions and make your throws. As long as you can’t do that, you won’t last in this league.

With a top 10-15 QB, this team (for all its flaws) can contend, especially with more talent on D and another competent WR. Until they figure it out, this sort of season is what we are getting.

Nick said he feels good about the QB position...

49ers will win this game... book it.

Can't say anything else.  If he says anything negative and they are looking to move on from Hurts... they kill any trade value he might have.

He's not going to throw Hurts under the bus, he's not made that way.

Since week 6 when we last played TB you have been

There is definitely one poster, lol, but to suggest that half the board wants him to fail because he blows is idiotic.

Not about wanting him to fail so much as knowing he is a POS as a QB and wanting him gone any way possible and know that won't be the easy way, so all options are on the table. I wanted him to fail after the last few drives today so people saw who he really is, but again, that's because I want him gone. Don't want the Eagles to have to search for a QB but the writing is on the wall and I've been right about that since last year.

I hope so. I may catch sheet, but I want Dallas to lose more than I wanted us to win. We were getting smoked next week anyway.

Cowboys are already jumping offsides a lot just like they did against us last week.

LOL

Nobody wants any part of tackling Debo

Damn they made that look easy.

THis is such a classic matchup too for anyone who loved 90's football.

I don't remember saying it then but, time flies when you hate a POS QB. Prefer a trade or whatever, but they won't do it the easy way so I'm fine with any other alternatives because they would be in the best interest of the team.

Alright @downundermike it’s the offseason. I personally think we move on from Hurts. Regardless of our arguments I respect your opinion. What are you wanting us to do this offseason?

GO NINERS!

F him too. We'll be watching the same thing next year.

Good start for the Niners. I feel like Dallas is going to have a poor time dealing with them.
