Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure players on both teams collectively bargained and accepted that policy.

Maybe they should collectively bargain that vaccines are mandatory to avoid the issue?

Can't eat your cake and have it too.

Making vaccines mandatory wouldn't avoid the issue.

Games aren’t getting canceled. They didn’t get canceled last year, they won’t get canceled this year.

That is because they postponed games last year.  NFL said they won't postpone this year, they will just cancel.

No, they said they won’t add an extra week to the season. They will reschedule and postpone as the schedule allows them to. If they can’t, then they forfeit

Is Kyle Trask throwing to him? If not, we have nothing to worry about.

My favorite take from this offseason

That’s true but we’ll likely never see another Dawkins level hitter. The game these days doesn’t allow for that type of violence. I’ve rewatched some old Dawk highlights recently, thinking how his hits then must’ve been illegal now. I was largely surprised how clean a lot of hits were, even in today’s rule language.

That being said, while obviously being very important, coverage skills have overtaken tackling skills for what I’d want from my safeties I think.

Totally agree. Coverage skills and positional versatility.

And Dawkins is just awesome.

Hurts vs pressure: Lowest completion percentage in the NFL.

Hurts vs no pressure: Lowest completion percentage in the NFL.

Look, consistency!

So you’re saying he’s just as good against pressure as he is with a clean pocket!

Dawk would get hit with a taunting penalty for just the way he would come out of the tunnel

@Swoop I know you want that Jalen Hurts one on one passing clinic. Now what I can’t figure out is if he’s supposed to be teaching us, or the other way around.

Just looked at the depth chart…

7 LBs and 7 total secondary players (4 CBs, 3 safeties)…

Also going to be running 12 personnel 70% of the time

4-2-5 so naturally you go with 7 LB’s and 7 DB’s

Meh... the PS allows for more flexibility than years past.  So, the numbers on the 53 can easily (and will be) supplemented by the PS roster as well.

But, more importantly, none of the 8th, 9th or 10th LBs, or the 8th, 9th or 10th DB was a guy worthy of a roster spot and couldn't just as easily be upgraded or at least matched by a guy off the street.   This isn't a championship roster, or anywhere close to it.  So, if they lose a couple starters, they move from a slightly below mediocre team, or a really bad team.   And keeping Cre'Von LeBlanc on the roster, as an example, doesn't change that fact.

I’d also think his asking price is so high, Howie might be saying to himself "whoa let’s focus on Ertz for cheaper.” It would be dumb to let Goedert walk and extend Ertz, but it would be pretty predictable if it happened.

Ertz first 3 years are a lot better than Goederts. I'm glad Howie hasn't given Goedert a big contract yet

Good job Singleton

Has a QB ever not been named a captain?

Good chance at least 4 of the captains aren’t here in 2 years
