September 20, 20214 yr Felt like Ryan Kerrigan was invisible again. It will be interesting to see the snap counts. Unfortunately we’re going to have to see more of him. I hate signing guys from the NFCE. Feels like it never works out.

In all seriousness, Brian Mitchell might be the best we ever added like that.

Dak isn't what he was but he can still get the ball to Cooper and Lamb. Cedrick Wilson, their #4 WR, is better than Jalen Reagor and it's showing now that he has to play for Gallup. The more they use Tony Pollard instead of Zeke the better that team will be as well. He's an explosive, fast RB. If we see more #20 than #21, that's not good. Their defense flies around and gets their hands on the ball. Parsons looked scary good out there for his first game at DE. LVE looks healthy and really flashed his talent again. Their secondary has all the talent in the world but they continue to give up big plays. Some of that might be on the Herbert and the Chargers offense but they also just seem to make mental mistakes. I hate the Cowboys and I hate them even more because they have loads of talent on the team. It sucks. Agreed 100%. Next week won’t be particularly close.

He was so good during his short time here. What a player. He's one guy that once he wore the Eagles uniform, he felt like an Eagle. Gone were the years he tortured us as a Redskin. All of the others just looked like guys collecting a check in a uniform they didn't want to wear. Kerrigan has been invisible for 2 weeks now. With BG done, it's his time to step up. If he can't, I'm dangling Dillard or Goedert for a young DE that can sign here long term.

I am concerned about our offense being able to match it. And, I don't know what to make of Nick as a playcaller. He did a good job in Week 1. But, once those bubble screens were taken away today, it didn't seem like he had a lot of answers. Also, our OL wasn't very physical in short yardage. It was getting no push.
September 20, 20214 yr Honestly, new coaches, new season, but I thought today's game looked very similar to a lot of December games last season. They'll have moments where they look promising. Hurts will make a couple really exciting plays, but no consistency, no rhythm. It's like a mish mash on offense. The problem is the Eagles have no identity on offense. What's their bread and butter? They have no "go-to" player at any position. No one they can ride or lean on when things aren't going well. They have no bell cow back. They have no elite #1 WR. They seem to just spread the ball around at random. They have some solid pieces, but no one who's going to consistently scare defenses. Devonta is the best they have right now, but only a matter of time before teams start to double him. Week 1 was nice, but I still am not expecting much this season. They could very well go 1-6 or 2-5 in their first 7 with the Raiders looking a lot better than advertised. I still think the future is bright and they'll probably be better than the 5 wins I predicted, but on the spectrum I think they're closer to week 2 than they are week 1 for this season.
September 20, 20214 yr Dallas isn't scary at all, IMO. That's big picture. They have an offense that consistently puts up big points in pursuit but never comes out on top...and a defense that still hasn't proven to not be terrible. A 20-17 win this week doesn't exactly fit that narrative, but it takes more than 1 game to change it. Put it all together, and they are a better team than the Eagles on paper, but certainly a beatable one.

But, the evidence is mounting that he can't beat other good teams that scheme to stop his running. And, when you get to the playoffs, that's what you get. They should try to trade him after this season, but I don't know what the return would be for him.

But, if you have a QB that isn't going to win you a ring, then why keep spinning your wheels? At some point, you have to move in a different direction. They could sign a free agent or draft someone or both. But, if they keep Lamar for a few years, his value will keep going down unless he somehow develops more as a passer.

You're not likely to win a ring with him, but you do win a lot of regular season games and make the playoffs with him. If he won't improve as a passer though, he'll make the decision easier for you.

September 20, 20214 yr Dallas is the worst opponent we'll face in the next 5 games (DAL, KC, CAR, TB, LVR). If we lose to Dallas, we could be facing 1-5/2-4.
