McLeod is washed at this point. Sad thing is his still the best option at this point. Glad to see those draft picks working out Howie.

The secondary has been the least of our problems.

And once again @RememberTheKoy why does my opinion of Jalen Hurts move the needle so much for you ?? Why does it matter if I don't like him ??  Is it going to change his career trajectory in any way ??  Won't it be super satisfying for you if he balls out and makes me look like an idiot ??  I just don't understand why you get so upset that I am not all rah rah cheer leader.  IT WILL HAVE ZERO IMPACT ON HOW HIS CAREER TURNS OUT.

That’s just how bad the drafting has been. Howie is missing on 1st 2nd3rd round. It’s been pretty bad for a while now.

I’ve said since 2017 they needed to draft a safety high and begin to plan for life after jenkins and really at some point mcleod as well when i thought the money wasn’t worth his performance. Jenkins was getting older and mcleod who was making more money. They basically didn’t draft a S from Ed Reynolds all the way to wallace knowing jenkins was aging and mcleod making big money and also had a previous major injury to the one last year as well as he was entering his 30s. I like wallace but he isn’t ready and last year they should’ve played him more once mcleod went down and didn’t and he didn’t stay healthy. He’s basically still rookie out there

It’s why in 2019 i complained when they took Jjaw over the trio of safeties available with that pick that was a position imo they needed more desperately to address. Especially looking back since we’ve taken reagor and smith the last two years.

That could change after Monday night.

I think you are just mad that me hating on Jalen Hurts won't make him win a Super Bowl like you hating on Nick Foles led to this.

Just as you do with stats where you disregard all the stats but only focus in one random stat and use that as the defining stat that holds weight over everything else, you did the same thing with the Falcons game.  Matt Ryan had more starts than Jalen Hurts therefor the Eagles were going to lose to the Falcons.  Anytime I'd bring up thing else about the game and why the Eagles would likely win, no you went back to Matt Ryan has played more games than Jalen Hurts so the Eagles aren't going to win.

So no, you aren't being real about the Eagles saying basically expect them to not only lose to the Panthers but lose as badly to them as they will likely lose to the Chiefs and Bucs just as you weren't being real about the Eagles when you disregarded every factor heading into the Eagles-Falcons game and instead declared the # of starts for Matt Ryan vs the # of starts for Jalen Hurts as the most important defining aspect of the game.  You just beam with negativity regarding this team.

Yeah I get that but Wallace wasn't a 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick so as I said I don't think you had realistic expectations if you are disappointed that 2nd year 4th round pick hasn't supplanted an established veteran who is a captain as the starter on this team.

Not sure I fully agree.  Substandard play by the Ss and no DB able to tackle Samuel last week.  Despite Wilson working all summer on ball skills, those remain lacking.

Let's fire the coach he's had 3 games to make the playoffs and hasn't

Where did I say anything about firing him? I just said his pandering shtick is going to get old if they get off to a 1-4 start.

Again the point is he’s missed every round

I know your opinion is completely irrelevant.  I'm not disputing that.  I'm also not talking strictly Jalen Hurts.  I just pointed out that its clear you really do not like this team you are apparently a fan of.  You're overboard negative about them from week 1 with the Falcons to now the upcoming game against the Panthers where you basically said that not that you just expect them to lose but you're partially expecting them to get blown out like they likely will to the Chiefs and Bucs.

I agree just someone brought up Rodney McLeod and I was just commenting.

What about using it to cause pain to Cowboys fans who haven’t won one in over two decades?

That's a different topic/debate entirely.   But a 2nd year 4th round player not supplanting an established veteran who is a captain on this team as the starter is not an example of Howie missing every round.

I’d also point out 3 of their next 4 opponents have significantly better QBs and weapons at the WR position then what we’ve faced so far so you are gonna see just how good the secondary is

True. They will be tested but I think Gannon’s system is much better suited than Jim Schwartz.

Please tell me the other players that I do not like ??

I gave you a concise explanation of why I think they lose to the Panthers, based on the games on either side.  I made that exact same statement before the season began.  You can not look at games in a bubble, you have to look at the flow of the schedule.  Teams get caught looking ahead and lose all the time.   Teams are deflated after an embarrassing loss and lose all the time.  A good example of this, Joe Webb. We came off the huge win against the Giants and then let down against a team with Joe Webb at QB.

Finishing up, if my opinion is completely irrelevant, why do you keep responding to it ??

I know a lot has been made of Sirianni’s shirts but if you’re gonna do this you better win.

Don't know why he chose to poke the bear.  They went toe to toe with the Super Bowl champs two weeks ago, and cost themselves the win more than Tampa beat them.

Dallas hasn't been a 'bear' in a quarter century... much more a paper tiger.

And that same paper tiger, with Andy Dalton at QB absolutely trucked Jalen Hurts last year.

He wants to see how his group responds -- especially the young players.  As long as he keeps them reined in at kickoff so they don't commit dumb penalties.  Besides, this particular bear resembles:

I hate Dallas but view it this way. Dak is a significant upgrade to what they were getting last year the first 3/4 of the season. Plus their defense if they are just below average is better than completely useless and non existent.
