Are eagles fans really throwing a fit because  Sirrianni wore a t-shirt???

I wouldn’t call it a fit, I just think it’s tacky and pandering to the fan base. The same way running a modified Philly Special last week on a 4th down that was dead to rights and never had a chance was. It just seems like college/high school stuff.

It’s all cute and fun until he’s the coach of a 1-5 team. Then it gets old.

This is why I'm a casual fan of baseball. I can't get involved with it like football and basketball I'd lose my mind.

It's just to long watch that much losing lol. I'll just check in read what you guys have to say and check out the box scores here and there and a game once in awhile. That is all I can handle lol.

The Phillies as an organization are maddening. Their history is littered with more bad baseball with 4-5 year stretches where you have some decent baseball followed by near decades of no playoffs. If you were born in 1985 you’ve seen the Phillies make the playoffs just 6 times in 36 seasons. I get baseball until the wildcard was the toughest to make but they went from 94-06 without making it. And then now 2012 to current. That’s 2 10+ season streaks of missing. Those aren’t even the worse droughts. They went from 1883 to 1914 without making them. Then again 1916-1950. Granted playoffs much different. But they had streaks of 14, 16 consecutive losing seasons. Currently 9 seasons without a winning season. Might break that this year.  That’s cause since they fired Ed Wade their farm system has been a disaster in terms of draft and developing.

My first memory of baseball is Joe Carter lol. That's why I follow the blue Jays too.... I was young and impressionable lol. I don't really care what they do though I just like to follow some.players on there like Vlad Jr.

I used to go to a ton of games and the reading Phillies as well. I really got into it when Jimmy Rollins came around and watched all.the games all the way up till he left I even went to the world series parade.

Then jimmy left and they ruined Dominic Brown and it pissed me off so I slowly stopped watching

If the Phils didn’t have the worse bullpen ever they would be in 1st place by 10 games.

They are the definition of inconsistency. If the offense is working, starting pitching and bullpen stink. If starting pitching gets something going, they can’t hit.  Bryce Harper is the saving grace of this team.  They are agonizing to watch every night.
That being said……let’s go Phillies!

Yeah it’s sad because they drafted and developed utley, rollins, howard, Ruiz and Hamels all around the same time and it was a major reason for their success. Then gillick added pieces to get them over the top. And since then they’ve been just bad at drafting and developing. The two best players they’ve developed are hoskins and nola. Like they started this rebuild in 2013/2014 and they just ruin prospects (and are barely a mediocre team with harper who’s an mvp), not developed them and draft poorly.

joe Carter still pains me. That was my first ever heartache i experienced cause i was pretty young. Loved that team. Dalton and kruk were my faves. I wish i was older during that 93 season

No one in my family watches sports or plays them they all hate sports. I had to learn all this sheet on my own. So I was still trying to understand all 3 sports at 13 on my own. For some strange reason my dad decided he wanted to watch the world series because he wanted to.see a PA team in a championship. Well that being the first real baseball I watched on TV of course I'm going to be all front runner like and cheered for the jays lol.

Do you know.how.much I loved Roy Halladay? To watch him go from the blue Jays to the Phillies. I knew what kind of pitcher the Phils were getting. I know everyone knew he was good but, I don't think anyone realized how.special he was as a person too. I was glad Phillies fans got to see him play for them.

I hate Darren Dalton, dude was a straight up jack ass. I know this because my sister had to.deal.with his drunk ass every year when he came.up to pottsville for Yuengling events. They all.hated him, they regretted not wanting Kruk.

It’s amazing to me (but not really at all) that all week long we’ve heard that there’s a good chance Amari Cooper might not play Monday night, then all of a sudden…..he’s playing.  Then out of the blue on a Thursday Mailata gets a knee sprain at practice and he’s out most likely week to week. I have/had no doubt that Amari Cooper would play Monday night with cracked ribs.  He’ll probably have 150+ receiving yards.

For once in my life, I’d like the Eagles to be on the positive end of weekly injury news.  F the Cowboys.

I was huge fan of Nolan as well that was my first autograph I ever got.

They did eventually get Kruk a couple of years ago. They love him they said he is great and also Aaron Nola they love him to they said he's real quiet and polite.

She’s now too big for newborn diapers.   I found out the hard way the other day when she fired out a diarrhea missile through her tiny diaper that almost hit the ceiling. Just like her dad after chipotle @EaglePhan1986
