Yeah TO was pissed about that because McNabb went to bat for Westbrook... Well yeah no sheet, TO just signed a deal and Westbrook was coming off his rookie contract.why the hell would McNabb go to bat for someone that just signed. TO was a dope.

TO 100% was a dope. McNabb IMO, has completely tarnished his legacy with his post career behavior.  It's just as easy to forget how good McNabb was for the Eagles as it is to forget how dominant TO was in 2004.  I don't hate either player now.  It's more of an eyeroll reaction to them.  If the Eagles invited TO back for a 2004 NFC Champion ceremony I think he gets a standing ovation.

Ben Simmons is doing everything in his power to be hated, not just forgotten.  He's accomplished nothing with the Sixers and wants us to be nicer to him.  He's going to be hated, booed and chastised by Philly fans for a long, long time.

Neither one of them have still.gotten over it. I think they will regret that sheet one day.

Agreed though, I don't really hate either one and McNabb was great he just didn't have the best of personalities to like lol.

I don’t think TO is hated here. TO was great. McNabb was the wrong one.

You think wrong, TO is absolutely hated here because he is a certified piece of s***.

In the old EMB we had probably the longest standing pinned thread in the forums history that literally was titled: "TO we hate you”.

What were the Eagles thinking taking Rodney McLeod off the PUP list?  My guess is we don't see him until week 5.  He's 31 coming off an ACL and was already a declining player.  I think an extra roster spot for a young guy is more beneficial than Rodney McLeod at this point.

Agreed here. We need a play making safety in the worst way next year.

Same reason that allowed them to remove jeffery from Pup last year and didn’t see him until after he’d have gotten off pup.

Players can’t practice while in the PUP list. With the expanded PS squad and ability to promote players it’s not really a big deal. Did we lose anyone by rostering him?

McLeod is listed as day to day. Sounds like he could be back next week. If they didn’t activate him, he’d be out the first six weeks.

Right, but with his ACL, he can simulate every motion needed without practice if you ask me.  I'd rather not have him for 6 weeks, he's already missed half of them.

Side note.

NC State shouldn't be on the same field as Clemson and is on the verge of a huge upset.

Clemson lost.......again.

It’s not about simulating any motion, it’s about practicing with his teammates and building on-field chemistry. Maybe you don’t care, but the coaches do. They want to win games, not hold a roster spot for six weeks for a young player who very likely is a scrub.

Not sure.  I don't really follow Clemson but most years they had a very good RB and multiple stud WRs.  Don't know if they have those guys this year.

Amazing about his play is he was the no. 2 QB in his 2020 class according to 24/7, espn and most recruiting sites behind Bryce Young

I get that.  Practice is important but at the same time, Rodney, at his age should be more of a plug and play guy.  Heck, he's probably going to have more veteran rest days than practice days by the end of the year.

As far as the roster spot, sure it might be a scrub but when a team is rebuilding like the Eagles, my personal opinion is when you have a chance to get a look at a young player, you take it.  Shoot, there are 496 practice squad players they can pick from for a free 6 week look while he heals up.  Could be a scrub or could turn in to an important ST player.

You're telling me there isn't one guy out of those 496 that could be a return specialist that takes the pressure off of Reagor and Watkins while at the same time lessening the risk of injury for them?  Maybe a young DE who could be part of a rotation?  Both of those make more sense to me than having McLeod active.

There probably aren’t any of those players that the team likes enough to put on the 53.

I'll scan some PS just to see who's even out there.  Again, I'm just spit balling ideas.  One of my biggest gripes the last few years is the Eagles roster management.  I don't think they've even filled BG's roster spot yet.  It's also gotta be a Howie thing since he's so involved with the final 53.

If McLeod misses six games and wastes a roster spot then I think you have a beef. If not, the Eagles were right.

I think it was one of the Caplan/Mosher pods, but someone said with Doug at least, players coming back that could only put in a LP just worked scout team, they didn't actually practice with the team outside of individual drills. If McLeod missed another week, I think its fair to question what purpose was bringing him back. It wouldn't be the first time they brought a player off PUP for no real reason either.

The medical staff missed the timeline on Alshon. Bad miss. No doubt.

McLeod is listed as day to day, so I think there’s a decent chance he’s back next week.

I won’t disagree.  I f-ing hate Howie and Lurie.  With a passion.

Never said i liked those two either. However i know i hate Ben Simmons and chip Kelly more than those two. Both simmons and Kelly are stubborn, arrogant aholes who also blame everyone else for their shortcomings that never won crap but think they were gods gift to their sport. Don’t get me wrong howie and lurie have some of those issues too but my hate towards them is far less cause they actually accomplished something neither chip nor Ben have and probably won’t ever accomplish. If i had to make a top 5 of most hated Philly sports figures in the last 25 years Simmons and chip are 1 and 2 for me

frankly Klentak is also high up there for me. Klentak was Fing useless for over a half decade.

They expected McLeod for week 1. Spadaro said it on one of their pre-season broadcasts. So.... its gotta be soon. But each passing week he cant play is an egg on their face.
