Assuming the Colts pick is indeed a first I think it’s a lock for 3 in the top 20

Not gonna happen, if Nelson can't make it through the season and Wentz is beat up, they will IR both of them and keep their top 5 pick.

That would be a dream scenario.  But a Colts pick that high is not sustainable.  Anything headed towards top 10 will lead to them cutting bait on Wentz and the pick defaulting into round 2.

Even then it’d be a high second, would be a good consolation prize. I think it’s more likely Eagles pick would be that high, and Colts pick would be 19.

If the Eagles roll over every dollar from this year ( which ain't gonna happen ) they will have 23.6 million in cap room with 39 players under contract.

Based on last years numbers, it would be a cap hit of 9.57 million for those players.  Leaving 14 million to fill out the rest of the roster.

I’m not worried about it that much to be honest

I’m not saying as they are today, just 3 somewhere in the top 20 if it actually becomes a 1st

Carson Wentz, to me, is the biggest bust in Franchise history even with his SB contribution. We had so much talent on this team. The resources we gave up, the money we gave up, his attitude. Now he is 0-3 with a team that lost 5 total games the year before. It’s just crazy that people still defend him. If Foles doesn’t finish that SB, Wentz would be universally hated by everyone.

damn I can’t stand the Cowboys. Their sleezy snake owner, €untstain fan base, everything. F those Fers so Fin hard.

Eagles will have 48 players under contract if the entire draft class makes the roster, with about 6-7 million in cap room to fill out the roster.

Howie will kick the can to create space. No doubt about it.

I cannot stand Carson as a player, believe he is selfish, and is not coachable but this is absurd man.  He was 50% of the reason we won the Super Bowl.  I would trade every pick in the draft for a Super Bowl win so this take is awful, sorry.

Not even close to being the biggest. Sure the fallout with him was ugly. But he still was a major contributor to Eagles first Super Bowl win, and could net Eagles a 1st round pick returning their initial investment.

Who still defends Wentz? He only gets brought up for the draft pick snap percentage or people that still want to complain about him for some reason.

What happened to Davion? Injured or healthy scratch?

Should have just bit the bullet this year and started clean with the 3 picks next year.  Hopefully he just cuts bait next offseason and does not rob any more from 2023.

He's been injured since like a week into training camp.

@hputenis

Chipotle commercial siting. Advertised the new brisket. They said something along the lines of "not like any other brisket”. Yeah no other brisket helps you paint the inside of your toilet.

side note - how many Michael Myers movies are there? There’s a new one every other year

I think he’s been here a month, if that? He’ll get his chance. If Hurts goes down we’re Fed either way

If he doesn’t play like he did the first 13 games of that year and throw a touchdown pass on a torn acl the eagles likely don’t have a super bowl. Love nick foles but nick has never played 16 games in any nfl season and is as hot and cold as they come (I’ve seen him since college at Arizona in person and talked to their coaches. That’s been his MO since he was a wildcat). We likely still have 0 Super Bowls

don’t get me wrong it ended poorly and should’ve been handled better. And it should’ve been way longer than 5 years. However winning a super bowl with that trade is a win. Ask the bears how they feel about their trade for Trubisky and still searching for a QB and no super bowl.

He hurt his calf in the last game
