Thats why you dont use high draft picks or break the bank for RB's. You need multiple RB's

Eh, this is just horrible luck for the Ravens.  They've lost their top 3 RB to season ending injuries within a week and a half.  If that happened to the Eagles, they wouldn't have a RB left on the roster.

Najee Harris is looking like he hasn't missed a beat going from Bama to the NFL.  I'd love to have Najee Harris on this team.  I agree, breaking the bank isn't the best idea but if there's a stud in the 20s range of round 1.  Take him.

Thanks.  I must've missed it.   @Ipiggles  you were right.

The Ravens also lost LJ Fort to a torn ACL earlier in TC.  Crazy how many guys they've lost and the season hasn't started.

Did they by any chance hire our old training staff?

Colts and ravens competing for the injured Eagles award. Eagles have won the award for 4 consecutive seasons.

got damn

I think the eagles tagged him this week with the designation so the ravens can’t do it this week. Next week is another story. Murray makes a lot of sense for the ravens

We have guys needing extensions, and guys at their positions keep signing mega deals.  We are not going to get any discounts.

Correct.

Let's be honest, who on this team looking for an extension is even mildly in the class of TJ Watt?

Yup. If Sweat has a good year I really see him pushing around $12-$14M ish per year

Doesn't matter.  Rising tide raises all boats.  Including our dinghies.

Depending on who’s projections you use jalen hurts….

It does...  but who on this list of must-have guys signing else where really cripples this team moving forward?

The only player that I'd even remotely put on that list right now is Mailata, and we don't really know what he is yet.  He's still in the 'promising' category.  Barnett?  Nope.  Sweat?  Nope.   Goedert?  Nope.  He's the next one on that list, but he wouldn't be a devastating blow.   He's a good TE... maybe even really good, but TEs aren't that hard to find.

Considering he's not eligible yet...  that's a non-starter for conversation.

It really pains me to say this but...I at least see the reasoning behind this one. He missed multiple games last year and next year will be the last year of his deal. Plus we just drafted Gainwell and are clearly rebuilding.

Not saying I agree necessarily but this one is at least in the ballpark. Which if we're grading on a curve is like an A- for Bcarty.

I was totally kidding because of the wild projections cbs used by eliminating 1 start and a half of football that was posted on here yesterday

If sanders still struggles to catch the ball and nagging injuries again hit him that there’s a chance sanders they might not want to extend sanders unless it’s at their price. I watch gainwell and think he has a lot of Austin ekeler and Dave meggett ability in his game.

I am all aboard the Gainwell bandwagon.  He is going to be special.

Biden is forcing companies to make sure employees are vaccinated. I wonder how that will hit the NFL? :cough: Carson :cough:

It won't.  The mandate says vaccinate or test weekly.  NFL is already doing that, and then some.   Non-issue for the NFL.

I would be in favor of this.

I remember leading up to the draft some site projected he could mccaffrey (https://thegameday.com/9101/article/kenneth-gainwell-nfl-draft-2021-prospect-profile-falcons-seahawks-jets/). I was like i don’t think that highly of him. I really do think he has a lot of ekeler and Dave meggett qualities In his arsenal. I think given time he has a chance to be a good NFL back.

Yeah not sure I'd go that far but I do think his draft stock was absolutely hurt by not playing last year. I mean I know that's an obvious statement but I really think he dropped quite far. Great for us though.
