Why they sent Dom I am sure will come out in due time.  Maybe Lane was in a volatile place and needed someone to talk him down to make him come back, who knows.  Maybe Lane was having an issue with his ex-wife, and Dom was sent to protect Lane from doing something stupid.  To speculate that it is a kidnapping or threat against his family is irresponsible.

Last offseason it looked like we needed a whole OL within a year or 2. We already might have it.  We are about to find out.

Not stalking at all.  As I said, someone posted it in the blog yesterday he is separated from his wife.

Didn't know that Lane was separated. Could just be a custody issue between them that's keeping him from playing

He could probably just take a hand-off up the middle for about 10 yards, then make a 90 degree turn to go out of bounds. I don't see our LB's stopping this.

He could end up looking right.  You never know what risks a team and player will take.  But it wouldn't be because he has better treatment,  or heals quicker or anything like that. That's just not reality. 

All the risks I explained would still remain.

Exactly.  He may play before the 6 weeks is up, but he will not be recovered.  I think a better bet, is will Wilson still be listed on the injury report weekly with a finger issue after 6 weeks.  No doubt he will, which means he has not recoverred.
