There is a disturbing increasingly lack of replays of plays thrown during games this season.

Well, that's a nice win...  Hurts played much better that half, made some nice throws, and some nice decisions...

Not gonna stick around to listen to "Hurts still sucks, but Darnold is worse", etc, etc...

Quit your whining you old crank

Hurts is a bad qb and the sooner we move on the better. We arent winning a damn thing with that stiff

I think Sirianni was dreadful today and he should thank Gannon for bailing his ass out. One of the worst coaching performances I've ever seen from Sirianni. Their best plays at the end that were on offense were Jalen Hurts reads.

Sirianni was good last week and we lost. Let’s say we balanced it out today.

Gonna be growing pains in the beginning of a season with basically a rookie QB and head coach. I feel like we will get better and if we can be around 5 wins when the last 6 games of the season get here we have a chance. That’s the time you want to be playing your best football.

As a North Carolinian, I'm stoked to beat the Panthers.

Took a lot of flak from friends and coworkers this week.

Go Eagles!

Same

Poorly coached, low football IQ, self-inflicting errors, Stone Age offense, just a frustrating team to watch. Credit to the defense and ST for single handedly taking that game. They earned it.

The defense looked good because Darnold is trash and his so called genius OC Brady is a moron and should of stayed in college.  He makes Nick look like Vince Lombardi and that’s saying something since Nick is an overachieving Rich Kotite.

He is who I thought he was.

Told @downundermike that the Panthers were not a team in the same tier as the Chiefs and Bucs.

Edit: also please Lurie, do not hire back Banner when you eventually fire Howie. Gase is awful.

Brian Baldinger in hyperbole shocker

Super sad you’d make excuses vs giving him credit for winning the game.

Three picks and a blocked punt won the game

No, more interested in the FO not buying into a delusion and saddling us with an extremely limited QB for the next several years.

Some people can enjoy an isolated win in a lost season for an aimless franchise…others have foresight.  Either option is fine.

I’m glad Gannon tried some new stuff this week instead of coaching like a scaredy cat.

Paper 'Panthers'.  Yeah, they were missing some key players, but they more lost this game than we won it.  I will give credit to our D and ST for making plays.  They got sacks and 3 INTs and a blocked punt that was the big game changing play.  Still, if not for awful QB play by Darnold and piss poor play calling from Brady then we would have been down 3 or more scores at HT because Hurts and the O were brutal in the 1st half.  CAR let us hang around and then we lapped them.

Sanders needs to be benched next game.  Siri needs to make an example of him to the rest of the team that you can't be that stupid TWICE in a crucial situation.  Nobody on this team should be above discipline.  They are still making too many dumb mistakes and Siri and the coaches need to do something about it ASAP.

I'd like to see the snap counts, especially for Watkins, Reagor, and Ward.  Watkins should be getting more snaps than the other 2 and if he's not then that's a problem.  And keep playing Taylor in place of Wilson.

And Carolina not simply falling on a ball in the endzone.

Oh my god!!

Someone with an actual honest take...

Some of these guys hate Hurts so much, that they can't see straight...  he's their QB, but they WANT him to fail NOT succeed...

and some of us, who point out his good plays and acknowledge his short comings, and still doubt his ability to progress into an NFL starting caliber QB.

And I would have no problem with saying I was wrong if he ever proves me wrong, so far thats not likely

We’ve got a whole season to figure out how limited he is. It’s OK to let it play out.

It’s super sad he a starting QB in the NFL.

What are you complaining about? You got a meaningless win and you get to complain about posters on the board.

Yep. Exactly.

I understand those in the "draft position" crowd, but it's week 5. The development of players MATTERS. You don't want to be the Lions, Jags, Jets, etc. Getting guys to play hard all the team is important. Getting a W makes it easier to coach guys up.

*Yes we should still be sellers*

Agreed.  The Miami pick is the one for the draft position.  To a lesser extent the Colts' pick.   We need these players to get better.   Gainwell continues to be a revelation.   Sanders ran brain dead at the end... he's so talented, but that was really bad.   Davion Taylor on the field is a nice step towards finding out what we have there (no need to see Wilson anymore).  Barnett actually didn't take a penalty that he normally would have.  Maybe he's finally had it get through his head... probably not though.   The OL is the OL of the future, minus the center.  We need to see them progress.  Mailata got beat badly on one rush by Hassan Reddick.  That was a great move by Reddick (not sure he's seen that move before).  The second play was just a foul up of some kind on the snap count.  Everyone was slow to move off the snap except Kelce and the DL.   I didn't noticed Dillard today at all.  (That's a good thing.).

If you want to trade for Rodgers or Wilson, you can't be 3-14. They won't want to come here either.

Yep. And if we want Sirianni to be a good coach, we need him to win some games and keep the locker room.

Hey I am happy they won, they won this game in spite of Hurts, and NS... that can happen. I always hope both will get better, so far I have not seen any improvement in either. But time will tell and I would LOVE to be wrong. I just doubt I will be, especially about Hurts.
