I been busy with work so I dont know if any of this has been touched on, but any one a little confused about this John Gruden thing.

you're telling me 650,000 emails and they only found Gruden in the wrong? And why were they specifically looking at Gruden.

I get it.. he's a meany, blah blah blah but this seems so fishy. Wouldnt be shocked if Bruce Allen and Snyder offered Gruden up(a bigger story) to save there own butts

I don’t think they were looking at Gruden. At least that wasn’t the intent. They were investigating the Redskins, and the Gruden emails were uncovered as a part of that investigation. As for others, it’s likely they have information, but aren’t releasing it yet. Likely some CYA going on.

It could just be possible that Daniel Snyder is smart enough not to have nude photos on his workplace computer, or be sending written messages slurring gays, women, minorities, etc.  I wouldn't just assume there are a bunch of others as stupid as Gruden and Bruce Allen.  Like @greend says, it's not that difficult NOT to be a complete scumbag in the workplace.

It’s definitely possible.

This week is most likely the last time we have to face Tom Brady

Combined yards or passing?

Passing.  Total is a far bigger discrepancy.

 Projections after 5 games:

Hurts: 4,641 passing yards, 24 TD passes, 10 INT, 870 rushing yards & 10 rushing TDs.

Wentz: 4,495 passing yards, 24 TD passes, 3 INT, 247 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

This makes sense, especially with the jumbled OL this fall, stretch plays are hard to coordinate with a changing group of OL, so the screen becomes a way to stretch the field horizontally when you can't successfully run outside.

Sure, but that wouldn't account for lack of inside runs.

Listen to what Baldy says about Hurts

This is the problem right here.

28-24 bucs

eagles will be able to score , with Bucs missing 3 starters in the secondary , and their best cover backer in Lavonte David .

I think eagles secondary is underrated.

Sorry if this was posted already.  This stuff makes the play calling look worse than it really is.

Interesting.  I like that he didn't check down, but I wonder why he didn't throw it to DeVonta?  Guessing that wasn't the primary read?

The big question is what’s the status of Scottie Miller because if he’s out too Tom doesn’t stand a chance

in the lack of credible communication or information: people will make up their own

Yep, agreed.  It's tough to say what's going on with Lane, and we should probably stop speculating. (I'm just as guilty as anyone...)

Lane will be back when he's ready, in the meantime we get to see a bit more of Dillard / Mailata bookends.  Shoot, if all works out, Lane can come back in a few games and maybe Dillard shows enough for us to move him for a good pick!

If Dillard is not traded and remains on this roster, he will start more games for the Eagles both in 2021 and after 2021 than Lane Johnson.  Not sure why there is this urge to trade him.

We haven't gotten there yet.  But is the scuff on Howie going away a little?

  • Hargrave is proving to be a great signing.
  • Mailata (although this is on Stoutland, Howie still had to pull the trigger)
  • Dillard has gone from bust to competent.
  • Taylor is seeing the field.
  • Wilson sucks, but Nelson and Harris are playing their roles.
  • Watkins in the sixth round and Gainwell in the fifth round.

Yes, the cap situation is a mess, mostly due to his "keep the window open" approach.

And Jones, Reagor, and JJAW will probably never be forgotten.  But the talent acquisition is trending more positive than I think we give him credit for.

Athletic offensive tackles are worth their weight in gold. We’ve had a good offensive line for the better part of many poster’s lives. I don’t think people realize the protection problems most teams have right now.

The Eagles have gone from a bad team with a crumbling foundation of old players to a bad team with a foundation of unspectacular younger players.

Or hurts handing the ball off on RPO's like he should

Agreed.  The whole point of the RPO is to get the advantage and run where there is an opening.  He needs to get better at anticipating that.  He just needs to get better at anticipation in general whether its pre snap recognition or when looking to pass to a receiver before they get to the top of the route.

Think I heard they are 4th in the NFL as far as YPC but near the bottom as far as rush attempts per game.

This was the case under Doug as well.  They get good yards when running the ball but they just don't do it enough.

They can run the ball fine without having to use screens as a secret way of running it.

JJAW and Reagor are the biggest reasons people hate Howie I think.

Well and selecting Hurts as well.
