Then argue with them. You said it in response to UK in here as if he was suggesting only rookie contracts.

By the way, Brandon Graham is now out for the year. Howie extended him, Barnett & Sweat. If he's a "cap genius" he shouldn't have extended Graham that much if he were going to pay Sweat & Barnett.

So is this your strawman? Was I calling anybody a "cap genius?" I think Graham's durability for the last 9 seasons and production level warranted his contract, regardless of what you think.

Barnett's deal is only voided years after this year.  So, he just rolled money from this year's cap into the future, not a true extension.

But, Howie loves to kick the can.

I said it a few weeks ago that this guy cannot stay on the field,  (I wish I was wrong about him, but I'm not-feel bad for him) and a few guys blasted me. Here ya go.... served nice and hot for you:

If we lose next week, I hope we don't make the playoffs.

Miami looks F_C_Ked as well, so that's 2 high 1st round picks... Praying Miami does not win anymore games from here.

I went to the Bills Dolphins game today.  Miami got blown off the field.  Tua was sacked 2 of first 3 plays and was knocked out of the game on the 2nd series maybe with broken ribs.  Their Oline was abused by Buffalo, just bullied all day.  WRs dropped balls and fumbled.  It was a disaster.  Interestingly the Dolphins allowed the parking lot right in front and all around the stadium to be torn up the last 3 weeks.  It looked like a war zone all around the stadium with temporary fencing surrounding it.  Parking was a mess.  The team played like the visual of their home being blown up affected them.  Have gone to 4 games the past two seasons.  Miami is a very poorly run franchise.  Today felt like their season derailed.  I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't recover.  5-12, 6-11, 7-10 or so may be what they end up.  The 1st rounder we get from them may be top 10.

This is music to my ears, thanks for your post..

I am praying that we get a top 5 pick hopefully out of Miami, Miami screwed up by giving us their pick instead of San Fran's..

Older players get injured more often. Need Dickerson to get off injured reserve, and step up as a temporary guard, if only to see what he has.

Well he stepped in yesterday so let's see what this kid has.

He was playing yesterday, as UK mentioned.

Let‘s hope it‘s not a full tear.

A strain won‘t take too long, full tear is 3-9 Months.

Granted, Brooks is known to heal faster than others, bit still a full tear probably ends his season.

He heals quick and gets injured faster than his healing ability. He is done....

Brooks needs to freekin retire and save what's left of his body and go live his life. Seriously- he is going to be a cripple is he keeps playing, and not able to live a good life after football. A lot of his injuries are season ending ones, and that's just too much on the human body. But he'll do the right thing and keep on getting maimed.

Yeah but his body is ripped, did you SEE his workout tweets this offseason?

He did and I didn't hear his name mentioned once. For an O Lineman that's a good thing.

Yeah but, up until then he only missed 6 games during the regular season. Getting a season ending injury at the end of the season doesnt count and neither does missing a full season because he only missed 6 games before that.... That is the mental gymnastics being done to consider Brooks not an injury risk

I think he struggled at first but I think he then settled. And against that DL I think that's a win for Dickerson.

Hopefully Dickerson is the Frank Gore of offensive lineman

He's on IR, but expected to return later in the season

He didn't play particularly well, at least early on.  I saw him get blown past for an easy QB hit.  He might have settled down after that, but frankly, that broadcast duo was bad.  So, not hearing anything about Dickerson is fairly meaningless.

Seems like we are about to find out a lot about Dickerson. So much for that idea to keep these guys healthy by not playing them. If they’re going down by week two then that didn’t really gain anything.

Just think the injuries across the league were brutal and now we have an extra game of watching teams fall apart with their off the street starters.

It's going to be really ugly by week 18, wait till they add another game

Remember when Chip got rid of McCoy for no reason, then tried to sign Gore who agreed before the official FA period opened but McCoy ripped Chip and Gore changed his mind, then he had to sign Murray instead who he didn't even use properly? Good times.

It was a great time!
