For someone who's been working for 25 years, especially for dual income households, simply tucking away 15-20% of gross pay every year and investing it in index funds should get most people almost all the way there already. I wish I wasn't as frivolous in my youth, but yeah being a "millionaire" is pretty accessible to most making decent money. It's also not nearly good enough to retire comfortably for our generation.

December 14, 20222 yr Definitely good news on the inflation front. I heard boneless, skinless chicken breast has gone down down 75% a pound! Munson must be over-the-moon!

Presidents always get too much blame and too much credit for events that are really beyond their control; it goes with the territory.
December 27, 20222 yr Retail theft was over $90B. How can we pin this future retail desert on racism when retails stores are removed from urban areas due to insurance cost?
January 5, 20232 yr Thanks a lot Biden. 😎 Seriously, the print industry has been shrinking for decades and most of us saw this coming. Both plants closing was a big shock though. https://www.wgal.com/amp/article/lsc-communications-to-close-its-printing-plants-in-lancaster-county/42407896

Mostly with the $500k jumbo xerox printers at the time. That was my 1st thought when I started seeing websites being advertised on TV in the mid-90s. I'm shocked it took THIS long.

It’s the long run high volume jobs that are few and far between. Our plant is designed to run jobs like the TV Guide, The Donnelly Directory, Readers Digest, NYTs, Avon, etc. We ran anywhere from a few hundred thousand to a few million impressions per job. We have 7 double web offset presses and 7 double web Gravure presses, and two times as many binding lines.
