It already happened. The question is how deep?

No kidding

SMH things you shouldn't need to have to try and convince people because the facts are well known.

My bet is it will be severe but short lived. Powell will talk tough a little longer, rates will peak in Q1 at the latest and then he will start easing.

British pound dropped 3.5% this morning

Yeah, because the world is being strangled of dollars. It’s a weird reversal of the last 20-30 years where we are now exporting deflation.

Sounds about right. I can’t imagine the world sustaining rate hikes for another full year or whatever.

Energy sector getting crushed today. Barrel of crude at its lowest since before the war.

Trumpbots should be along to sing Biden's praises any minute now...

Building Back Better Baby!!!

🤣

One hand keeps printing money, the other keeps raising interest rates. Can't imagine what's driving inflation.

President Biden's move to cancel up to $10,000 in student loans for many borrowers — and up to $20,000 for others — will cost more than $400 billion, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO). The analysis also said Biden's suspension of payments for other borrowers until the end of the year — made as part of the same action — will hit taxpayers too.

$400 billion over ten years? That's a pittance in today's budgetary climate.

I think that this was the wrong way to handle the student debt issue, but the MAGA crowd sat on their hands when the orange clown was buying votes with his handouts. I bet they didn’t have a problem spending all the money we were given when he was in office.

The smart ones still have it knowing this was where we are headed. 😉

Fourth quarter looks to be showing so real potential.

Not smart enough to realize trump contributed to this mess.

Smarter people knew we were heading in this direction long before Biden took office.

They’re the same ones who now reflexively deflect from any discussions about Pop Pop’s culpability.

Yeah. I really love this part. Almost as good as act two where Biden gets replaced, policies get changed, and you're here telling me it was all Biden.

Welcome back btw.

Not a deflection at all. The same people crying about Biden now, gave and continue to give trump a pass. The discussion about who’s culpable for the economy involve more than just one man or administration. People are quick to point fingers at the other side but are nose blind to the stink in their own house.

I have been able to increase my income 50% since Biden was elected. He’s the man!!!

Are you trying to say that Zucker's partisan?  That seems like a stretch.
