They'd rather have everyone fail than one race achieve higher success than the others. Truly sick people. However much contempt you have for liberals, it's not nearly enough.

Any kids you may have are never getting in those classes anyway.
October 8, 20214 yr Frick, I actually have to agree with Kz for once. Like sunshine on a dogs @ss. Gifted classes were the only thing that made primary school remotely tolerable. Nothing is going to discourage young and agile learners more than forcing them to the lowest common denominator. This will literally chase away gifted students of means and set a low bar for those that remain. We need MORE tracking, not less.

Kids will get bored and not develop a passion for learning. Worse, intelligent yet unchallenged kids will find less productive outlets.

October 8, 20214 yr If you have a gifted or a special needs kid (I have one of each), you really shouldn't send them to public school. Its really the worst thing for them. This isn't to excuse Diblasio, he's an idiot.
