These gifted programs are your chance to show that you’re just as smart or smarter than the kids at Dalton. And now we are going to rip that opportunity away from them in the name of equality. It’s Fing shameful. No one wins. The kid has an opportunity taken from him, schools can’t differentiate between students, and the country will inevitably lose out on some people who could have done bigger, more important things in their life. All to spare the egos of people who were never going to make it anyway. It’s a disgrace.
August 18, 20223 yr Heard an interesting concept of a group of parents privately hiring a teacher to home school.
March 28, 20242 yr Voters in SF demanded they put Algebra back on the curriculum for 8th grade. They also voted out the majority of the school board in 2022. Even SF voters have had enough of this.
