They were already out of the playoffs. The game was a scrimmage. Meaningless . . . except they screwed themselves on draft order slots. Yes. we have their first rounder, but they will regret winning a meaningless game in rounds 2 through 7.
January 10, 20224 yr I find it funny that our own pick is worse than the Colts and Dolphins. I don't think anyone would have predicted that in the preseason

Guess it really all depends on which players are available when we are on the clock.

In this case we have three 1st round picks. I say we use them all.

Give me Ojabo, Gardner and Linderbaum and I'll probably draftgasm right in my pants.

I want to see a draft focused on defense but there are a few offensive players I’d be stoked to land (Linderbaum being one of them).

Linderbaum would be ideal, but even a Treylon Burks, Devin Lloyd, Daxton Hill, Jaquan Brisker, Lewis Cine, or David Bell would be awesome.

I do have a gut feeling Gardner is taken before our first pick. Booth is probably more likely to be in our range and would be a heckuva consolation prize.

January 10, 20224 yr 15/16/19.......ahhhhh the season started with so much draft promise. We stunk, Dolphins stunk, Colts stunk, what could have been, what could have been.
January 10, 20224 yr Still not happy about that Pats / Dolphins game. I'm going to be so mad if Ojabo or Sauce are taken at either 12,13,14 and we end up taking the next person on our board. But then again we probably all expected the Colts pick to be something like #22 before yesterday, so at least that one is a win.

The Ravens game is another one.

With 10 picks though, they at least have the ammo to move up to get the guy they want. A difference maker at DE is my #1 wish from this draft
January 10, 20224 yr I don’t follow college so I can’t speak on specific names, but I’d be thrilled with at least two defensive studs. Three is fine too, but one thing this season has re-taught me is a dominant o-line is friggin awesome. With Kelce near the end and possibly gone next year, I can’t complain about getting that center if he’s the stud others claim. 4 out of 5 linemen being that young and possibly together for 10-12 years? Oh hell yeah!
January 10, 20224 yr Three picks to get any of the following LB, DE, S, CB, OL Sucks that the Miami pick ended up 15 when it could have been 12 with a loss yesterday, but if you would have told me two weeks ago that the Colts pick would end up 16 I would have called BS, so it evens out.

Depending on how free agency shakes out, I wouldn’t even be mad at using one of the first on a WR. Sucks to do it a third year in a row but right now they have a #1 in smith, a 3 in Watkins… and that’s it. If prefer if they could manage to land a good vet like Godwin, but barring that scenario I’d be OK with WR in the first.

But I also didn't think they'd rattle off 7 straight wins (winning 8 of the last 9). Talk about a tale of two halves of the season.
