Yep, they're schedule is about as easy as possibly can be.

Probably the only team with an easier schedule is us.

Got to say - not looking great for multiple very high picks

I don't want Wilson at any cost !

Seriously people might want to keep an eye on how Wilson plays in bad weather and cold games. If he’s out there struggling like he did today in Green Bay it should raise some alarms.

I think washington and giants will be tough wins for us, I think we go 5-2 as best case scenario.

Chasing draft spots mid-way through the season is how you end up like Detroit, aimless and with a losing culture.

Well for Sirianni to take a 4 win football team to a 9 win football team would be quite an accomplishment.

Yep, being helped a little by schedule this year. Would be harder repeat next year as we'd go from fourth place schedule to second place schedule.
Its not everything but with the way this 17th game works, its does matter even more than it used to.

In any case next year they still play the NFC East so that’s a plus. Also when the Wentz money comes off the books the Eagles cap situation should be better to go with the 11 picks they currently have in the draft to go with basically three first rounders. They’re better set to make a push in 2022.

He's been really hit and miss, and he doesn't seem to have an identity as a coach.  He seems like a solid coach though, we just need to keep the defense of other teams honest and continue with a more balanced approach to the o game.

It’s his first year as the head guy. He’s still looking for his identity, but I respect the fact he’s willing to change up. The Eagles seem like a much more balanced team now than they have been in a long time. This is all part of the process. Young head coach and young quarterback. You can and should expect some growing pains.

Current status of the Eagles picks (to include the one from Indy since currently we would get it based on Wentz's snap count %):

5 (from Miami)

11 (our own)

15 (from Indy)

The outcome of tonight's game (Rams @ 49ers) could change that ... with a 9ers win, that would bump our own pick up to 10 (based on SOS).  So go 9ers!

I'll update first post after tonight's game concludes.

You mean just like no way the Dolphins beat the Ravens? Or WTF beats the Bucs?

I’d still pull for the Rams. I want as many NFC teams as possible with better records than Dallas. I don’t want Dallas sneaking into the 1 seed.

thats not how you build a losing culture. 1 year is nothing in this league. even 2 years.

You know why the Lions have a losing culture, The owner is an idiot. got rid of a decent coach in caldwell to try to out smart everyone with that idiot Patricia. O and then they draft some worst than Howie.

I hate the .... We're gonna be a losing organization trash. STOP.

I still pull for the Eagles to win every weekend.  I just root for the teams playing Indy and Miami to win to try to get the highest picks from them possible.  Oh, and I also watch the standings and schedule and root for any teams currently projected to pick before us to win (e.g. Minnesota to beat the Chargers, Washington to beat TB, etc.).

I definitely understand not wanting to see Dallas get the 1 seed, but I'd sooner see what is best for the Eagles and that is getting the higher pick.  Dallas getting a better or worse seed does not help us in any way.  Besides, it may be even more fun to watch them get the top seed then get bounced out in the divisional round.

If I had a working crystal ball that told me that was the case, I’d be in favor of it lol.

With the 9ers win over the Rams last night, as expected that bumped our own pick up to 10.  First post updated.

Updated the first post as tonight's game will have no bearing on the current positioning.  Even if NY wins they'll be locked in at 7 due to SOS.

Need Miami to lose to Carolina next weekend and Indy to lose to TB.

Other games with rooting interest (as it relates to draft pick positioning):

  • Bears beat Lions
  • Raiders beat Cowboys
  • Falcons beat Jaguars

What a difference a week makes. I don’t even care about draft pick positions anymore. I only care about playoff positions right now.

For me it is a mix of both.  For our own pick, I care more about continued success and possible playoff positioning.  For the picks from Miami and Indy … well I hope they crap the bed giving us the best picks possible lol.

I hear you, but I stopped looking too deep into those teams as well, because they keep friggin winning! The only thing now is Wentz basically playing in two more games.

Eagles and Colts have shot at the playoffs, believe it or not. Picks are dropping in value. Other teams are in full tank mode.

Eagles could win a bunch of games with 2 each against Giants and WFT and one vs Jets. Eagles in the playoffs? Eagles pick could drop to #21 overall.

Colts play a tougher schedule. 4 games against top teams: Bucs, Patriots, Titans, Cardinals. 2 creampuffs: Texans and Jags. on the cusp of the playoffs. Colts pick will be #18 to #22.

Dolphins could win a couple more games with the Jets and Giants on their schedule. Dolphin pick will be #11-13.

Prediction: Eagles 1st round picks will be #12 (Dolphins), #18 (Colts), #21 (Eagles)

Eagles are gonna make the playoffs. Colts can too if they win a couple tough ones. Dolphins aren't tanking, so they win a couple more games.
