Prediction: Eagles 1st round picks will be #12 (Dolphins), #18 (Colts), #21 (Eagles)

I've been estimating 7, 14, and 21 all along. You add those three numbers up and you have 42. Anything 40 or less would be a "win" for our draft position. 35 or less would be incredible. 50 or more would be disappointing but it would also probably mean that the team is heading in the right direction, which is what we all ultimately want anyway.

I think we are around that 50 number. Both Eagles and Colts will be in the 16-22 range (playoffs or just missing). And Dolphins likely 8-12

Maybe, but I can also see the Eagles finishing 8-9 and picking 14th or so, with the Colts also missing out on the playoffs and picking 17th. That's quite plausible. You put Miami at 9th overall, and that adds up to 40. Anywhere from 35 to 55 seems like a certainty. We just really have to hope that the Dolphins start losing again. A pick in the 5-8 range would be great consolation if the other two end up being playoff team level selections.

The Chicago win yesterday moved them down to 8 and bumped that Miami pick up to 7.

Rooting guide for Sunday (other than the Eagles to beat NY):

Carolina (to beat Miami)

TB (to beat Indy)

Seattle (to beat Washington)

I'd probably add Atlanta to beat Jacksonville too.

Unfortunately the picks don't look like they are going to be as high now. Still possibly a top 10 pick with Miami and then 2 more between 10 and 20. But hey this team is also showing that it's got some talent so things don't look as bad as they did a few weeks ago.

So at this rate we will end up picking something like 15, 16, and 19. Looking like

Colts 9-8

Eagles 8-9

Dolphins 7-10 or 8-9

I don't think we will. I don't think our pick will end up being that high.

Yeah. Said that last week. Sucks.

With 14 teams making the playoffs now, the 18th pick goes to the first team to miss the playoffs. The Colts are either going to just make or just miss the playoffs. Meaning their pick will probably be in the 17-20 range. The Eagles and the Dolphins aren't making the playoffs, but shouldn't be terribly far behind. So at this rate something like 15, 16, and 19 is about right. Hopefully the Titans can hold onto their lead over the Colts. That loss to Tampa today was huge.

Especially with them getting a freebie against Houston next week.

Colts

Houston

Patriots

Cardinals

Raiders

Jaguars

They will likely go 3-2 with an outside shot at 4-1, putting their final record at 9-8 or 10-7 and just in or just out of the playoffs.

Dolphins

Giants

Jets

Saints

Titans

Patriots

Going with 3-2 or 2-3 and a final record of 8-9 or 7-10.

Eagles

Jets

WFT

Giants

WFT

Cowboys

Again, 3-2 or 2-3 and a final record of 8-9 or 7-10.

That sucks. We need Tua to get injured to get a pick high enough to get a stud db like hamilton or stingley in addition to a Michigan de later.

I could be wrong but as of now it looks like the Eagles picks would be 10, 11, and 15.

The last update chart I saw had all three picks one spot higher.

Current picks would be 9, 10, and 14.  Tonight's game could have an impact on that - if WFT wins, that would bump 9 and 10 up one (to 8 and 9) ... it wouldn't impact 14 (from Indy).

I'll update the first post at the conclusion of tonight's game.

All I know is that we need a heavy defensive draft.

which is why we won't get it

They need a franchise QB equally as bad as they need a defense heavy draft. I think they can win with Hurts if the team around him is loaded but there is going to be a limit to how much they can win. Baltimore is a prime example and Lamar is a better version of Hurts.

8, 9, and 14 heading into week 13.

This coming year's draft is weak the year after I believe one of the Manning kid could be available via the draft possibly ?

The Manning kid will be a freshman in college in 2023. He is being recruited right now so quite a few years away from the NFL draft

They aren't finding a great QB in the 1st round this draft, this is a suckers year for QB draft, they'll talk a couple into the first round because the NFL draft isn't the NFL draft without someone over drafting a bust QB, but the scouts had been struggling to find a QB to pump up until Pickett bailed them out, Corral and WIllis have been hanging round the conversation like a bad smell but neither would be a round one pick in a normal year. We're not going to be high enough to draft Pickett without using at least one of the other two firsts to move up and he isn't worth that.

The value in the QB market this year is in the middle rounds, this is a year for a Dak Prescott pick.

I've got a horrible feeling Howie will take Carson Strong and his reconstructed knees in round 2 and he'll make Wentz look as durable as Brett Favre by comparison.

Washington's win last night did indeed bump up our pick and the one from Miami from 9 and 10 (respectively) to 8 and 9, as expected.  First post updated.

Stupid observation of the day:  if the season ended today, the Jets would select 4 and 5, the Giants 6 and 7, and Eagles 8 and 9.  Obviously a lot of football left to impact draft slotting but interesting to note that pattern in the current order.

I just read three different mocks that were done today and they all have Washington picking 8, and the Eagles 9 and 10. Am I missing something because 5-6 is a better record than 5-7.

Those doing mocks don’t always do their homework.  I’ve found a lot of inaccuracies in them (like not taking into account picks that were traded, etc).

Might just because the Redskins have played 1 less game who knows. I looked at a few I only saw 1 that had what you said.
