Great game. Better result than I expected and much closer than I would’ve liked, but it’s the Eagles so,…

Still have serious reservations about Hurts as a passer, but he held up and didn’t make any serious mistakes. The key is we gotta continue to run well each game to have a chance with our limited passing attack.

I can't actually believe how bad Reagor is. I mean the Saints were kicking short just to force him to have to run it. 

The issues with the passing game are not just Hurts.  It’s also drops, bad routes, misses on protection causing pressure.  Hurts isn’t there yet but he has improved.  But they need another playmaker at WR and Hurts needs to take the next step throwing with anticipation and accuracy more consistently.  But the execution on offense takes all phases to be good or it looks bad. They are just more advanced with execution of the run game atm.

how in the world is reagor still active, he halfbutts it out there and still there he is on game day

nope.   the words "needs" is wrong.

Hurts is sufficient at his current level of passing quality.

The top running QBs are good enough if they can and do run great and pass well enough.

Hurts runs great and passes well enough.

If Hurts becomes even better as a passer,  that's a great bonus,  I'll take it,  but what he brings with the running and passing is enough.

And that's why I always say that as much as I despise them...the cowgirls always get it right when it comes to receivers. They have so much at that position...just imagine if we had more than just one receiver and one tight end...

Hurts is above average but the only legitimate complaint is sometimes he takes too long to get rid of the ball.
