What sucks is we will at some point in this game get a snap from Herbig that goes way over the QB's head.

God Herbig... We talk about Hurts being bad and being dumb today but my god Herbig. 2 huge holding calls, both clear as day.

  • This season has been funny reading the hot takes.  They beat Atlanta: they're legit! Lose a few, play bad: season's over, they stink. Cut/fire everyone!  Win a few, play better: playoff

  • The Eagles are clearly in cahoots with the alcohol industry.

Best halftime adjustment?

You clowns. We marched down the complete field and if Herbig and Ward didn’t screw up big time it’s a TD.

We get 3 points before half if trash throws the ball out of bounds

Hurts will never win if he has to depend on his arm strength. With that said he looks very uncomfortable today.

Nice to see Siri made the adjustment back to running the ball but the only reason we needed to do that is because Hurts keeps proving he can't pass.

All he has to do is throw once in a while and not do something stupid. He just did something stupid.

For the 2nd time today.

I hope Howie doesn't commit long term to a QB who cannot win games with his arm. You cannot settle at QB.

Where are we getting this magical franchise quarterback, though?  Weak draft class, and I certainly don't feel like mortgaging our future on an aging Wilson on the downturn or a sexual predator like Watson.

You’re seeing that, too? Every snap is an adventure…

I have to agree brother.

People think his passing is fine.

LOL.

No one thinks that. At least no one who knows football....question is whether he can improve to become a somewhat competent one or not

Congrats to DeVonta Smith though for his first career FF.  Reminded me of DeSean as a rookie running down an interception in the first half of the NFC Championship Game against the Cardinals and forcing a fumble.

I put a lot of that on Sirianni though. We've seen time and time again Hurts needs to be eased in and he needs help to get him in a rhythm. They asked him to throw too much early on and now it's a mess.

All these qbs slinging tds and ours is throwing picks. They are about to get shut out by a d that’s ranked 29th.

This is Hurts worst game as a pro. Without a doubt. Someone quoted me earlier and said it's because of drops...no. it's not. Running the ball is one thing, but he has to make the throws when needed. The Giants aren't winning, the Eagles are losing this game.

FYP

I was gonna throw Siri in too, but none of this happens without Herbig. Ward, Hurts, and Siri are after the fact.

Micheal vick summing up hurts perfectly in the first half.

This Giants team is a joke right now and yet are ahead. They are a dumpster fire.

No need to panic, but they better step up. Get back to running the ball. No more bad penalties from the center and stop throwing the ball into double friggin coverages.

We aren't establishing the run enough.   It was a solid drive but too many mistakes.    We get the ball back, Good job Defense holding them to 3.

The first one was definitely holding. Herbig tackled the guy.  The second one was borderline. The Giants have been holding worse than the second one and not getting called. If you call the second one on Herbig, then they need to call holding on the Giants' OL who are doing even worse than that.

Nick won't do it

Siri is such a dummy. He calls a QB draw on 2nd down, doesn’t make it and burns his final time out. Then on 3rd down with no time outs left you have to pass the ball. Just stupid. Should’ve passed on 2nd, then if you don’t make it, run on 3rd and burn your last timeout and kick the field goal.

Bingo!!

We're down by 3. There are HoF QBs with worse games.

The score is irrelevant. He's playing like crap. That was inexcusable.

We need Kelce back. If he can return, we win.

Wide receivers dropping the ball or coming up short has played its part, most certainly.

Hurts is having a bad day, no doubt, but those happen with young, inexperienced quarterbacks.  Hell, they happen with to older, franchise quarterbacks as well.  Remember McNabb's horror show in Oakland in '08 (I think that was the year)?
